Nil d Meets.........................
(Preview)
So I was hanging around Spring Garden Road in Halifax with an hour to kill this sunny afternoon, so I went to the local library to check out a few books and CDs. As I was checking out, this familiar-looking couple were in the lineup in front of me, looking like someone I had seen in a couple of picture...

Can someone explain what is going on with this guy?
If his injury was a herniated cevical disc and he played through it most of the last season than who is to say he will be 100% for this coming season? Has he had a surgical removal of it or is it assumed that with the off season break he'll be a...

After giving Dumont some serious consideration…
(Preview)
And-o hopes that Gainey can totally exclude the money factor from his thoughts (surrounding the possible acquisition of J.P. Dumont and any/all other available players) and focus instead on objectively answering the following simple question…does this acquisition make the team better?

History made in Boston
(Preview)
Well, its official, after four decades harry Sinden is leaving the team. He had a great career with the Bruins. They are really pushing for a cup with the Chara deal and a few others. I just cant imagine the Bruins without Sinden. By the way Ando did not see your post until after i made mine so...

What about Bondra???
(Preview)
Anyone think bondra would be a good fit for the habs. I know he's getting older now, but experience doesn't hurt with a young club like the habs. He certainly knows how to put the puck in the net, he's proven that. I think even for a year or two, would be kinda nice. Just thought i'd throw that out there. Ohhh...

retired #s
(Preview)
So who's next?
I realize it's a tall order to get your number retired as a Hab. But don't you think there are a couple who deserve it? I'm thinking mostly about the 70s Habs (Dryden, Lapointe, Savard, Gainey, Shutt, Lemaire, etc....although maybe only Dryden deserves it) But more than...

What is really peeving me is this....
(Preview)
Need to get this off my chest..and no I HAVE no axe to grind with Bob GAINEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here we have Koivu, our ONLY legitimate NHL center at this point, limping into the season with a 3 year no trade clause, not sure if he can even play hockey again. Gainey did nothing to address that this off season...

Another typical Habs season coming up!
(
1 2
)
(Preview)
No depth at defense. A few smurfs and fourth liners at center. Saks, good for his typical 60 games or so. Counting on Ribs again to carry the load...yikes!
This team is so limited in big league depth that a few more injuries to start the season could leave us scratching and clawing to make...

Concern does not Neccessarily Equal Negativity
(Preview)
Much has been said here lately that alot of the posts have been too negative. I will agree that is the case in some instances. However, sometimes people come across as being totally negative because they are not quite sure how to express themselves. The problem with a forum like this, where everything...

I've been noticing alot of negitive comments towards many things for this season....

Ribeiro and Koivu (like always)
But we don't look at the good things too much.....
A good experienced GM signed for a few m...

Party Games help!
(Preview)
Hi Folks!
I am organising the games for our annual church outing on 2 September.
I was wondering if there are any typically Canadian games we could try?
The only condition is the have to suit all ages(and be easy to organize!).
I know this has nothing to do with hockey but I'd be glad of any ideas a...
