Hello all,

I've been reading this board for a while now and finally decided to join up.

So here's a quick intro...

Born and raised in Montreal.
Born and raised a Habs Fan.

Points of View:
Brisbois -> Still happy he is gone
Ribiero -> Needs to eat more
Roy Debacle -> Blame it on a rookie GM and Coach
Theodore -> See Brisbois
Gainey -> I trust him... but I wish he would "pull the trigger" on something big... but then I think 'Hey!, he got rid of Brisbois and Theo in 2 years... so I'm betting Ribs is next for year 3... he ain't doing too bad!'
Kovalev -> Favorite Player...
Koivu -> respect him,amazing heart..but hope he retires for Cap room ... not for a better but a more non-injury prone player. I think it wasn't for the injuries, he would really be a #1.
Markov -> Our true MVP ... we better not loose him to UFA next year ...


Habs are the best Franchise in Pro Sports.

'Nuff said.

Welcome aboard!


I am always curious to learn how you heard about GOHABS.com.  Funny enough, I think there are more non-Montrealers that make up this board than Montrealers.  I guess Tony Marinaro plugging my site on Team990 helps.


But any Habs fan, regardless where they reside is a HABS fan!

I'm also one of the members that lives south of the border in NY though I am close enough to the border that if there is ever a major earthquake here during the night I will wake up as one of the newest residents of Quebec in the morning....

ANYONE who loves the habs are welcome, so welcome aboard!  just 2 questions 1) you didn't say how you would rate the young habs: RYDER,HIGGINS, THE HAB DANCERS IN THE BLETCHERS....2)HOW do you expect the canadians to do this year?...... JUST KIDDING, WELCOME ABOARD!!!
