I've been noticing alot of negitive comments towards many things for this season....

Bob Gainey and his contract
No big centerman picked up
Injuries so early
Ribeiro and Koivu (like always)

But we don't look at the good things too much.....

A good experienced GM signed for a few more years
Good goaltending situation many teams would like to have
Still more young talent coming up (good young talent)
*I said it before, we came 7th and look what we went through last season, probably more drama then any other team in the league. Now everything but the injuries seems to be in place....lets not get down and dirty yet guys, lets wait til the season starts at least.......CHEERS.....CAPER_HAB_FAN

Im sorry but Pittsburg had it the worst last year with what season they were SUPPOSE to have. Look how it turned out. Plus, i think Toronto had it pretty bad too....but who cares about them.

I was shocked at the turn out of their season.... it was really "The Pitts" (pun intended) It should have gone much better for them.


& personally... I don't care about Toronto's woes either Johab

I did as well Jay. But they are really young still, maybe alot like teh habs are (minus Syd the Kid). I feel that if they get Malkon over here on a line with Crosby that as bad as the rest of the team may be, you will be in for a game every time you play them.

Malkin is apparently still another season away due to Russian contractual obligations.

You know, I was thinking about Crosby, I don't really see him staying in Pittsburg when his contract is up. For some reason I see him going to a different team, unless super mario is still somehow involved in the pens organization
