Begin Should Have a CH Tattooed on His Chest
(Preview)
The Habs are in a penalty killing situation. A Hab defenseman losses his stick. Begin skates to the Dman and gives him his stick. He skates back to the point. The Ottawa player playing at the piont is about to take a shot. Begin, with no stick, gets in front of the shot and blocks it with has hand. The same po...

Now we'll see...
(Preview)
Now we'll see what this team is made of. With these next games coming up, the boys will have to take their game to next level. If they can't, then they'll be entering playoffs against a good team on a low.
An alternative would be to play conservative and hope for the best while resti...

(Preview)
Alright guys and gals, this is what i would call...
THE GAME OF THE YEAR....SO FAR
We are currently tied with New Jersey for 6th. Both teams have the same points and wins so the tie breaker is goal differential which Jersey holds. So a win is the only thing that will help us.
HUET MUST START SATURDAY...

Vancouver fans calling for Naslund's head
(Preview)
It's not only Habs fans who want their captains head on a block when their team is failing. The Canucks fans believe he is not the right man for the job, he's too quiet, not a good leader...
Funny how certain fans are pretty much the same no matter which team is being cheered for.

Steve Begin
(Preview)
The replay of the injury did not look good. I am well aware that he is no game-breaking sniper, but I think this is a blow to the Habs. His energy is an asset to the club and will be difficult to replace. Does anyone have the skinny on the extent of the injury, or are w...

Bouillon - valuable or not
(Preview)
Is it a coincidence that the Habs 8 game winning streak started the game when Bouillon went down to injury. I know the guy hits alot and can skate but it seems the team is better when he isn't in the lineup.
In my opinion he should be no more than a 7th defenceman on this team.

Thoughts
(Preview)
The habs had a good chance to tie the game up late but it was stolen from them when they were tripped and hooked. With only 6 seconds left the powerplay after was very shortlived and all NJ had to do was kill a 6 second power play after taking away a steller chance. NJ did it twice once the Habs managed to score...

analysis of streak
(Preview)
Eight game winning streak and optimism reigns supreme. certainly a lot of good things have happened. Team chemistry, at least on the surface is at its best levels in a long time. Players response to Higgins 20th goal of the season and Downey's goal against the Bruins showed a team pulling equal...

I have to mention.....
(Preview)
I have to mention for conversation sakes, a few negative things.
Firstly, Downey has shown me squat in terms of fighting and talent. He turtled when Neil wanted to go at him when he was going to the box anyway. He could of took him along for a five minute major and set the table as far...

Hey everyone

Not sure who u r listening to, but south of the border we have these two nuts for NJ. Especially Chico Resch. All he is doing is ridiculing the Habs, He is relentless. he really got me when he says "as for the two goalies tonight there is no comparison" Hey, I would put Huet up against anyone. I want this game...

Point totals on last 8 games:
Higgins 8g 4a 1.5PPG
Koivu 3g 9a 1.5 PPG
Ryder 4g 6a 1.25 PPG
On top of that, Bulis has backed up his words with 2 goals in 2 games since coming back. Ribs and Kovy are starting to click. Dandenault has 4g in lat 10 games, I think, and if I remember right they were all him...

Goals
(Preview)
With six games to go, here are a few goals to shoot for:
1. Koivu & Kovalev each have 59 points; 60 + just around the corner. Dare we try for 70?
2. Saku has 17 goals; go for 20.
3. Ryder has 29 goals, 30 just a shot away; anything more is gravy.
4. Bulis has 19 goals, 20 would be nice.

Predictions - still on or not?
(Preview)
I've heard three predictions on this site earlier in the year and am wondering if anyone thinks they are still valid?
1) Ribs will take the scoring lead by centers on the team by seasons end.
2) Bonk will be at least 2nd line center on this team by years end.
3) Plekanecs will be 1st line center on thi...

Eastern Conference Goalies
(Preview)
The only proven goalie in the Eastern Conference playoffs is Marty Brodeur.
Every other goalie is unproven in the post season (Huet, Lundqvist, Niitimayki/Esche, Burke/Grahame, Gerber, Emery (Hasek is toast), & Miller.
