Because Brodeur is a different goalie, he's an iron man who's used to playing 70 plus games, he's done this his whole career. Huet is in his first real NHL starting role, and his career high is 41 games. Not all goalies are capable of playing 70+ games without getting worn out, infact most European goalies need time to get condition for the heavy load of an NHL season from what I've seen over the years.

Is the penalty of obstruction not being called anymore? I noticed at least 2 occasions where a Jersey player prevented an Habs player from getting the puck along the boards by blocking his progress. The Habs player did not have possession of the puck. Is that not a penalty or am I wrong. This seems to be a big part of the Devils system and allows them to play the trap perfectly. Sad night, the Laffs are leading Philly 4-1 going into the 3rd.
This is going to be the big question come playoff time. Obstructions, clutching and grabbing, will they call those? Or are they going to keep calling the meaningless little hooks?
I was just feeling proud of Quebec for personal reasons. Hope I didn't offend anyone..I'll try and keep the symbolism of my NeoCanadian political view outta the picture.

Anything in particular? Was it Brodeur's upcoming performance aginst the habs?
Always interested to hear what spurs on the pride of "Quebec".
