Apology to Koivu???
(Preview)
Why hasnt there been a public statement/apology from the Carolina Hurricanes or from Justin Williams himself to the canadiens or to Koivu about the incident, which god forbid, could be career threatning??? Am i wrong here????? Has this incident been brushed off with the media like it was not...

Penalty Killing
(Preview)
Why do players who don't have a stick when killing a penalty (ie. Bonk after he gave his to Souray) not just skate straight to the bench and grab a new one. I realize that they would be facing a 5 on 3 for a few seconds, but almost all players are useless without a stick.
I'm not blaming Bonk or...

I haven't been around much because of college - but the amount of personal comments being posted doesn't surprise me - but it tends to aggrevate me.
I realize there have been posts like this before, and I am not going to ramble on... but... We really need to respect others opinions - and if someone says...

I nominate Ribs for the Preparation H Player of the Year Award - I used to think he was such an ass but whatever ointment he's applying to his personality - its working. I'm really loving what he brings to the game!!

Koivu vs. the Refs
(Preview)
Guys let's face it. the officiating in game 3 was solid. first of all, we can't blame carolina for the high stick on koivu's eye... sticks just happen to shoot up like that all the time. plus, it's not like an eye injury is serious, his eye will probably just grow back. plus, he's even...

Useless visor design
(Preview)
All the tut-tutting that went on when Berard injured his eye...
"Oh, if he'd only been wearing a visor, he'd never have been hurt" and such
This incident with Saks makes at least a dozen eye-related injuries I've seen happen to players wearing visors...
Is it the design? Why aren't the ma...

What do we do with the lines
(Preview)
I think its obvious that Saks won't be playing Friday. Hopefully it isn't too bad, but we need to get ready for this big game with out him??
IF YOU WERE GAINEY, how would you juggle the lines for Game 4. Here is my lineup.
Bulis - Ribeiro - Kovalev (is now 1st line status) Higgins...

CAN WE WIN THIS SERIES?
(Preview)
Hey guys! I personally believe that we can win this series. The Habs need to take revenge on the Canes - by sweeping the next two games. I really want Huet to get a Playoff Shutout and we need to show Ward and his teamates that he is not made of brick.
What do you guys think? Looking at the season stats no one...

There was no “collapse” (that is just another ridiculous statement)…the sky is NOT falling!
In fact, Plekanecs stepped-up into Saku’s place fairly well, especially given the circumstances (amazing face-off performance…solid ‘D’…and Ryder/Higgins still got some quality c...

The only thing I was looking forward to was to see how this team would do in the playoffs. They've been doing great but why haven't I been enjoying it to it's full potential. I really think it's due to this board...Something that I look forward to doing everyday is to interact with any of you BUT it's leavi...

My 3 keys to the loss
(Preview)
1 - missed call on Koivu (if they'd seen it, it would have been called, so i don't blame the refs...bad luck is all)
2 - missed save by Huet (don't blame him really, bad bounce is all)
3 - Koivu's absence (hmmm Habs minus Koivu equals loss?)

Oh Gainey...

Oh Gainey, I wish you would of added an offensive center in the last three seasons and especially this season.
Now, with Saks(maybe) and Begin out, we are sure thin.
What I would of gave for a big center that could log big minutes tonight. Plecs filled in Ok, but no...

I've never got personal on this board with anyone or called anyone a name but tonight, I can't believe the no class cheap remarks especially from a loser named Larry. I guess he wanted to make his 30th post a glorified one. Of course we're not happy with the outcome!

Saks Makes Us Fell Like Carbo Did...
(Preview)
Can you guys/gals remeber the rare occassions when Carbo was injured and wouldn't be in the line up? Carbo always gave that sense of not really sure what it was...maybe security. It feels the same way with the prospect of Saks being out. It just doesn't feel secure without him...Eventhough most of us&...

They've been nothing short of impressive in each of the 3 games. We are up 2-1 and still in good shape. We probably lost our captain but the GUYS NOW YOU HAVE TO DO IT FOR YOUR CAPTAIN. It sounds cheesy but man is it the truth.

And-o is pretty much amazed at just how sick and twisted some of these posts are!
A man lies in a hospital with a potentially life altering injury and people are actually blaming those of us who critique his play of a game for that!!!
A new all-time low here!!!

Did Souray get a shot on the foot? We can't afford to lose his presence along with his booming shot and the big minutes he's capable of. I hope it's not a long term thing.
