I will be positive. This team has played so well (and the Canes so bad) the first 2 games. We all need to remember that the Canes are an elite team in the league.Just think where we finished (7th) and we took it to the canes. I am not very happy we lost, but the refs were questionable. I will say I do not mind losing the next three and being eliminated as long as I know #11 will be ok. I do want us to come out in game four to prove something just like the Canes came out tonight with something to prove GO HABS GO

I for 1 have had it. This board (well a few specific members on it) have sunk to an all time low. Despicable. They sit there & insult & rant certain posters saying... oooohhhh bad karma, you talked bad about the guy & look what happened... you must be happy now.... OMG!!!!! What if something happened to the posters in which they are instigating? Will they feel bad????

WTF.... I feel it's putting a damper on my playoff enjoyment & may just end up off the board as a result.

McGirl...don't you dare think of leaving this board. You have been part of the team for a while now. Don't let what 2 or 3 posters say cause you to leave. We have to fight these types of cheap shots and come to an agreement.

This board has been like that for years. I may not post alot but I have been reading this board for years. THere is so many band wagon jumpers and critics that I have opened my eyes and realized most Hab fans are like Leaf fans.

Sad but true. I come on here to read up and see if anyone has any inside scoop, but most of the stuff in here is all negative, especially after a loss.

And if there is a win there is still negative feed back. Example, a couple of weeks ago we lost to Jersey and had 40 plus shots on goal, alot of people complained about the loss.

Game # 1 we had 40 plus shots against and shot like 25 or 20 and people still complained about the win.

To be honest there is no winning on those board. I notice there are certain people that defend each other, even if the new person's comment makes sense, the guys who have been here forever stick together.

All in all, it is a good site if you want to pick up general info, like injuries or who is playing, as for comments on the game it is really bad. I must say though Barry makes a lot of sense , and he will go against his word if he is proven wrong.

I get it, I don't want to leave... but dang it..... there is only so much a person can take (or read) without wanting to jump off the deep end. Andy and McGirl, I hear you loud and clear. You're right, much of the content on this sight is negative BUT Habs fans are not like Leafs Fans for the simple reason that we don't envy anyone. Leaf Fans seem like they are constently jealous or envious. Anyways, forget that. That's another topic all together.

This site is a gift to Hab fans and now we've not only taken it for granted but we've finally realized how much disrespect we've shown towards this site.

Andy, you probably came on to see what the update was on Saks right?...and you read the other crap. Not fun BUT I'm hopeful that tonight might change something.

C'mon guys, the board is a way of blowing off steam for some people. I've certainly complained about negativity, anti-Sakuism, etc...but that's my way of blowing off steam too. I've got nothing personal against And-o, barry, or whoever I'm arguing with at a given moment.... You guys are needed and let's keep it a family, okay? Ask yourselves, why do you keep posting? Because you can't help but be drawn to the banter, the arguments, etc...That's what hockey fans do...they're competitive!

Things go too far sometimes, but hey, we just lost the captain. And that was a really annoying game all around. Let's watch the boys stick it to the 'Canes! (without sticks to the face)

I agree.... but there is just too much blame going on & carrying topics/fights way past an acceptable extreme.

Good point. Habs need to play controlled. Get revenge the best way, by putting the Canes a game away from elimination. Capitalize on the fact that the Hurricanes must know they were lucky to win that one and got away with some dirty stuff.

I agree that there are just too many mean spirited posts of late. They serve no purpose in my opinion and for me, they suck the fun out of it. There's nothing wrong with pointing the Habs faults and short commings, and discussing same, but a few people need to go to a dictionary and look up tact. We're all fans of the same team for crying out loud, the bickering and in fighting is really sickening and takes away from the fun we should be having being up 2-1 against the 2nd place team.

All that said, we're all fairly intelligent people. I feel the Saku injury has probably brought everyone to many of the above conclusions.

p.s. hahaha how funny is that, I spelled dictionary wrong "dicionary, you can't even spell dictionary". This edit is to fix that bonehead error

No matter how I feel, we shouldn't be asking for John's head here. I agree with apology part but we can't start making cases for posters to be booted out. If the moderators on not on top of this, then we are in trouble.

No apology neccessary in my opinion. Things are said out of emotion here and And-O has been guilty of saying some things that were borderline too (calling a very good friend of mine a Moron and a Jerk). We are habs fans. We are passionate. Sometimes the passion comes out the wrong way. So be it. Speak your mind guys. All I can suggest is what has worked lately for me. Step back and give the emotion some time before you post. It helps.

I knew you did that last night. You waited for the calm after the storm. That's exactly what I'll be doing from now on. Maybe not the morning after the game but a couple of hours after the games should do it.

sorry barry , i disagree. This guy clobbers everyone who dares say something he does not agree with and last night was pretty much crossing over the line and the last straw for ME. This guy is a sorry excuse for whatever he isa nd I am surprised a GROWN man (if thats what he really is) would make comments like that!

Saku11, I don't think And-o would be calling the moderators on this one.... The debate may cross the line during extreme moments, but I think there's an underlying respect from years of going at it. John's mad, but hey And-o has offended people plenty, (I'm thinking habgirl, for example, on an uncalled-for remark) and is probably the last person you should worry about. Sure And-o's offended. He has a right to be. But I'm guessing he would rather go at it with JohnM rather than call moderators, because he knows JohnM just saw his favourite player go down and emotion is ruling. All will be forgiven.

My opinion ....It's not that the CANES are playing bad,It's THE HABS are playing like a team that makes the CANES look like their not playing well. The HABS are just a better team,"PERIOD",since GAINEY took over the team.They were all over the CANES last night...I just hope the CANES don't have a young KEN DRYDEN in their nets. I say the HABS are going to CRIPPLE the CANES the next 2 games ,their gone,done,dead meat,"GO HABS GO".

I respect your view plouf, iam when i said "if i was a moderator i'd boot this guy" i meant IMO if i was the moderator. I wasnt asking for a moderator to take charge or action. I was just basing it on my opinion.

Sorry but he's out indefinately Andy. They may have to wait up to 72 hours before the blood is drained from the eye before they can make a diagnosis....There's another post that has most of the info on Saks condition.
