I think its obvious that Saks won't be playing Friday.  Hopefully it isn't too bad, but we need to get ready for this big game with out him??


IF YOU WERE GAINEY, how would you juggle the lines for Game 4.  Here is my lineup.


Bulis - Ribeiro - Kovalev (is now 1st line status)
Higgins - Bonk - Ryder (2nd line status)
Zednick - Plekanec - Perezhogin
Sundstrom - Begin/Lapierre - Murray (if Begin healthy go with Begin, if not Lapierre)


another option to think about instead of Lapierre if we don't have Begin in, would be Kostitsyn for some Goal Scoring.


Zednick - Ribeiro - Kovalev


Higgins- Plekanec - Ryder


Kostitsyn - Bulis - Perezhogin


Sunstrom - Bonk - Murray.


But again i prefer the first lineup with less juggling involved.

beak.. i think you keep them like you have it with the first set...  Those  are well balanced and i think Bonk can step in a fill that void.

From what I heard they might try to get Begin to play but very limited action.

Actually the more i think about it I like Pleks taking Koivus spot and Begin taking Pleks spot. Pleky and Higgins were a good combo for the Dogs once upon a time.

Higgins/Pleks/Ryder
Bulis/Ribeiro/Kovalev
Perezhogin/Begin/Zednick
Sundstrom/Bonk/Murray


If no Begin Available.

Higgins Pleks Ryder
Kosty Ribs Kovy
Perez Bulis Zed
Sunny Bonk Murray

I'm with the Beaker on this one. Pleks with Higgins and Ryder, Ribs with Kovy and Bulis, Bonk with Sunny and Murray, and Begin centering Zeds and Perez. If no Begin available, I'd sub somebody else on to that line or do some double-shifting, but I'd keep the other three lines intact.
