We Are All Hab Fans, Right?
Permalink Closed

Got home late and did not see Koivu's injury.  The replays were not pretty.  Then we got nailed with a 4 minute penalty which we did not deserve and we managed to kill.  Then overtime....another penalty....lousy reffing, no doubt.  Unfortunately, referreing is an ongoing problem and I am pretty ticked off with the result.

My point?  We lost tonight's game and I was hoping we would win, but here is my problem.

This board is a forum for all Hab fans to unite and cheer on our boys...it is not meant to be a means to pick on each other as posters.  We have a major injury problem....does it matter who it is?  I think not.  The bottom line is that this is our team.  We win or lose as a team.

So let's pray that Koivu's injury is going to be better than it looks so far and that our boys will keep on keeping on.

In the meantime.....let's support our team as a unit and keep the personal grudges out of it.

Les Canadiens sont la!

No pun inteneded MrsHab, I think tonight was a real eye opener for the members of this board. My predictions are, Habs in 6 and a kinder gentler gohabs.com. Sure we can disagree and have different opinions, but I'm hoping tonight everyone will turn the corner and treat each other with more respect.

Amen to that, for sure! It also looks like Koivu's injury is UNDER the eye and he has been stitched up and is seeing an eye specialist to check things out.

Let's hope!

Oh Joy....Not only would I be happy to know that his vision is going to be okay...but it would be very cool if he could come back (health and wellbeing willing, of course) and kick some Carolina butt.

For sure, what a monster boost that would be for game 4!

If he's not back by Friday, it'll be the "Here's one for our Captain" win.... Then He'll be back in game 5 & it'll be the "you knocked me down.... but not out" win

Let's keep stuff positive guys and gals!  It's 2-1 and we all know it should have been 3-0...but as Habs fans - how much fun is it?   WE'RE HERE FOLKS, LET'S ENJOY IT!

Well-said, Mrs. H!

If there's one "moderating influence" around here (to quote another poster), it is you.  You are a true fan.
