They've been nothing short of impressive in each of the 3 games. We are up 2-1 and still in good shape. We probably lost our captain but the GUYS NOW YOU HAVE TO DO IT FOR YOUR CAPTAIN. It sounds cheesy but man is it the truth.
It was a frustrating loss but a well played game. A little shaky reffing and one minor tactical error by Huet was the difference. No worries though, we're still in great shape. I had a pregame gut feeling we were not going to win this one, but I shut up about it. I've already got a strong "win one for the gipper" feeling about game four!
GO HABS GO!!! And all kinds of good wishes for Saks!
I think Friday will be emotional to say the least. I hope the habs come out flying and that the roof is a rocking
NOW we see what this team is made of guys. This is a character building exercise and I am confident that BG and Carbo, who have pretty much seen it all in their career, will have these guys pumped and focused. I said in the beginning that this series will be 4-2 Montreal and I still feel that way. Habs will win Friday, carolina will steal a flukey one back home on Sunday, and Habs will wrap 'er up back home Tuesday. Get 'er done boys!!!!!!!

Those were my same predictions after game one...Habs in 6. The only worry is now we have to character players out with Saks and Bégin. Can Carbo still play?

You being serious Barry? We have a few other players we can use besides Ivan right?
No buddy just my sad attempt at humour. If I am not mistaken, Kyle Chypchura has been practicing with the team. If that is the case I expect to see him in Koivu's place but that line be relegated to a scond line behind the Kovalev line.

What a culture shock it would be for Chip...straight to the big time and straight to the playoffs, nonetheless. With Gainey's conservative demeanor, do you think it can really happen?

In my humble opinion Key Lime, Chip is better than anything we had in Hamilton this year as far as centers. SO I say put him in, get his some experience, and hope for the best.

I'll take your word for it Barry because I can't say that I've ever seen him play. All I go on is what others have said about him...Is he on the roster though?

He was playing Junior this year thus he is eligible to play as long as his team is finished.

I see Bonk moving into Saku's place on the line (now will be 2nd line though). I also see Begin moving back into Bonk's place in the lineup if he is ready to go. If not Lapierre will take that role.
Expecting Chipchura to come in is to much too ask the kid in my opinion.
