Top Three Things That Need Improvement
(Preview)
It;'s fun watching all these close games (as long as we keep winning them!) but I'd love to see the Habs blow somebody out and take that momentum into games against their tougher opponents. What do you think are the areas where they need to improve?
In my opinion, the top three would be:
1. Stupi...

Sid the Kid does it again
(Preview)
Holy crap! What a goal!
My heart is cleft in twain. I love this kid, but he just cost us the game.
A great game, and another third -period comeback, so we really can't complain.

Kovy Spitting
(Preview)
I read on another board that Kovalev spit on Jackman? Anybody know about this? If he did, he's lucky the refs did not see this. NHL could review and suspend him.

Huet back down IN A.M.
(Preview)
These two annooncers on TSN said Danis comes back up Friday and Huet will go to Hamilton. There was a play when the announcer not sure if it was you know who Pierre McGuire. But he started saying "Oh you do not want to get Mario Lemieux mad at you because he will take your head off. The other announcer said&n...

Circle the Wagons...and beat Toronto!
(Preview)
There are allot of things that we could be negative about...but the Habs have tallied up a fair number of points recently...and it is time once again for the depth of this team to step-it-up!
CJ is smart enough to keep things simple versus the Leafs. I expect a tight checking game...and hopefu...

A cure all
(Preview)
I know we lost, and now we forget the good times of the past two weeks. The only thing I can say is i felt bad last night when we lost because we fought back and Theo played well.
I think what would cure any problems in depth (defense) would be another Dman(we have all said it) where he would come from...

The Day after Thread
(Preview)
Hi guys- Just a few thoughts about last night's game since the thread was getting so long I thought I would start a new one.
I thought the Pens played very well and very hungry after a loss the night before. Maybe the Habs were guilty of looking ahead to the Leafs game, but I feel that it was good to have a...

Game review from other board
(Preview)
The unfortunate thing about tonight is not that we lost the game, it's the way we lost it. This wasn't a matter of being beaten by a better club, this was all about losing by committee. Only a handful of Montreal players apparently managed to make the trip to Pittsburgh, despite it seeming like there wer...

Yvan and me
(Preview)
Well, I was to Montreal and back today on a (literally) flying visit. Who did I bump into at the airport? None other than the Roadrunner - Yvan Cournoyer! We had a brief chat. He was off to Toronto, I believe for some sort of autograph session.
Made my day!

I don't get it
(Preview)
Why have a goalie who is not ready to play back up our starter. Until Huet is ready to play a game then send Danis down. I thought Danis would have got the start against the Pens a rest Theo against the Maple Laffs.
How well is a goalie going to play for us knowing he is going to go back to play in...

If only BG had inked Teemu Selanne!
(Preview)
Teemu went to Anaheim for $1 million per.....and he is simply flying!
Wasn't the rumor mill linking the Habs to Teemu back in the summer???
Imagine placing Selanne in Dagenais's place since day #1???
Just think...Selanne makes $450K more than Dagenais (which likely represents the re...

Were You?
(Preview)
For me i was on the edge of my seat for the whole overtime but once the shootout started i kinda settled back down. I find it pretty bad and not exciting, the only way i could ever accept it in hockey would be if they extended the overtime to 10 minutes and a 5 player shootout. But really was a tie really so bad?...

Garon
(Preview)
For those of you still whining about the Garon for Bonk trade..Garon has lost the starting posistion to Jason Larbererra because coach Andy Murray says that "Mathieu can play better". Labarberra makes his 4th straight start tonite. Appears that Garon is relegated to bench duty. Not a bad trade BG

Penalty to Markov.
(Preview)
Does anyone know why Markov was given a game misconduct? It's obvious that Fraser hates the Habs as he manages to give us at least one controversal penalty each time he refs. The hit by Begin was clean-Talbot was reaching for the puck and therefore his head was lowered-as he hit him with hi...

Players vs. Owners
(Preview)
Before the CBA i thought the players were being completly unfair and they shouldn't even have a union anymore because they didn't need one to protect them. Boy was i wrong.
