Circle the Wagons...and beat Toronto!

There are allot of things that we could be negative about...but the Habs have tallied up a fair number of points recently...and it is time once again for the depth of this team to step-it-up!

CJ is smart enough to keep things simple versus the Leafs.  I expect a tight checking game...and hopefully some quick counterattacks versus the Leafs big lines.

No excuses...EVERY team faces injuries!

Lots of guys have been floating through these past few games.....time for an honest 60 minutes from everyone!

Exactly what I was thinking.  Depth is only as useful as the players effort.  If Kovalev takes another night off and Belfour has another A-game, then we may as well tune into a CBS made for TV movie instead because the game will be painful to watch.  But I expect a firm lashing followed by a solid game.

I tried calling CJ this morning to tell him I would not be in Montreal to see him this weekend due to the death of my Grandmother. His wife answered and told me that he went to the rink at 7 am for practice (this after the team got in at 3 am). I can guarantee you that if the team did not know what it was like to skate last night(and by all accounts they did not), they will know by noonish today. I know alot of you guys think he needs to be more animated on the bench. But I can tell you that in the dressingroom after an effort like last night it is not pretty.

Look for a much better effort vs the Leafs tomorrow or he will start benching players (and he will bench the stars too..he holds no favorites).

GO get em HABS!!

I watch Bg,Cj, Jarvis and Greene as well as Melonsen. I think this is one of the better coaching staffs in the league. I feel very confident with whatever decisions they make. Hey I am police officer and I am sure he would not tell me how to do policework. This team needs to win Sat just to prove a point. I will say this, everytime that we have a special night at the Bell Ctr and the ambassadors are in attendence , we seem to lose. I am hoping we play strong defensively, Theo plays well again and that we take it to the Leafs. Get the PP going and I hope to se Bulis and  Souray   by the way any news on Souray??
