Leagues new scheduals....
(Preview)
How many people here like them? Personally i dont like the fact that you will only see matchups from the western conference between certain teams once every 3-4 years....I REALLY think there should be at least 1 match-up between every team every year. lower the amount of times division teams play eac...

Taking Price at #5 overall...
(Preview)
...might still be a good selection, although it sure does sting to have a Laff prospect beat out our guy (plus, some bum named Patrick Roy NEVER played for Canada did he???
Nice to see Chipper wearing the 'C' though...is he the Canadiens next Captain (I think Higgins would be a great 'C' one day as well...

Poll #6: The Russians are coming!
(Preview)
Question: Based on some of our eastern European friends' recent potential, should we try to add a few more Russians in the mix to give a more late-90's Detroit feel to the team. Bonus: Would hiring Vladislav Tretiak be the answer to Theo's woes?

...........but I can't resist a plug for Halifax.
I just heard on the radio that Halifax won the Canadian bid for the Commonwealth Games (forgot what year, but I'll be an old man by then....)
Still no guarantee that Canada will get the nod for the Games, but if it does, Halifax is it.

Sit MRS. Riberio
(Preview)
He is getting pushed off the puck like a 13year old kid. He doesn't shoot and takes way too long of shifts. Rivet played his worst game in a Hab uniform tonight. We need Koivu and Kovalev back but more importantly it's time to trade for some toughness and grit. Julien re...

Latendress and Chipchura in; Price cut
(Preview)
We'll have 2 future Habs on the World Junior Team (for Canada). I was a little dissapointed that Price was cut. Overall, though, it should be a great tourney for the Young Canadians and for our Future Canadiens.

What is the coach's next move???
(Preview)
Since the majority of GOHABBERS seem to support CJ as coach, perhaps someone would care to speculate for And-o....
Is CJ set to put someone in the pressbox for a game or two...or is that all talk???
Will CJ promote the few guys (eg. Higgins, Murray and Sunny) who have been reall...

Anybody have any news about what CJ said during the press conference and during interviews. I caught a small part where he basically was blasting Ryder, Ribs, Dags and Zed. Like to know more details if someone has 'em.

I'm sorry to say this but I have to defend Ribs again for people stating he is to blame for another loss!
How about Ryder staying out longer then his linemates then getting caught tired and shooting the puck over the glass for a late penalty that killed us!

I think it's time we clarify our views on certain characters in this movie we all like watching, so I'll start with CJ, and the question is: Do you think he's the man for the job? No reasons needed, just a yes or no. I'll tally at the end

I don't hear many people crapping on Zednik lately (AbHabman had good comments), but in my opinion he's simply not playing up to par. I saw the replay of the tying goal (Edmonton's third); he had a chance to get the puck off the boards, and was bounced like he was made of styrofoam. He...

In yet another display of half-efforts, the Canadiens managed to worm their way out of victory against the Oilers, dropping by a score of 5-3.
