I as well hate the new schedule. But these guys had to sometimes travel on a road trip where they'd be in Florida one night, then turn around and fly to Vancouver the next. That takes a toll on them. So if it increases the quality of the game fine.

What would be ideal, however, would be if they had someone actually sit down and look at not only the teams playing, but the geography of these teams on a night to night basis. I know this can be difficult with 30 teams but they solved the CBA issue, how much more difficult can this be?

Can't stand it. It's like being told you've won a weeks vacation, and you find out you're going to Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Ottawa. Second prize- two weeks!

I have a feeling they'll adjust it next year. The thing that made games against the Leafs special is the infrequency of them.

Could be worse. The oldtimers league (no I am not really old enough to play oldtimers but they needed a goalie so bent the rules haha) I play in has 4 teams. Even though this is fun and no contact (ya right) hockey, the fact that we play each other so much leads to anymosity.
