It wasn't all bad!
(Preview)
I seen some good things against a really fast and skilled team last night. Sure there were players that didn't look good but all in all most of our players did their thing. A big point against a good team!
Also think it's really great to see the chemistry between Saks and Higgins. These tw...

Plekanec & Bonk
(Preview)
Since Koivu and Begin are the two centres we don't have to worry about, I thought Bonk & Plekanec have both played very well - especially in the Toronto game.
Plekanec has really taken his opportunity and run with it.
I still think we should sign Jason Allison though. He put up 60 points i...

Observations so far
(Preview)
I can't say I am disappointed with the way the team is playing right now. We have 3 out possible 4 points.
Ninanma is playing alright for a sixth defencemen - better than I expected - I see him talking it up out there
Ryder continues to be a goal scorer - I don't know why we don't sign...

Habs rally for shootout win over Leafs... {:o)

TORONTO (CP) - This time Michael Ryder went with his bread and butter instead of the fancy stuff.
Ryder beat Andrew Raycroft top corner on the glove side with a powerful wrist shot on Montreal's fourth shootout attempt Saturday night to lift the Canadiens...

Shootout snipers???

So who should we be picking for our shootouts....here are my top 5, and i'd like to hear about everyones opinion and there top 5 as well.
- Kovalev....no doubt about it he has hands that 95% of the rest of the players in the league would love to have, he has to be one.
- Higgins.....has been proven t...

Afer a dynamic, high-tempo, creative hockey game like last night; we were spoiled by a slow, plumber-style game tonight.
It's hard to understand why the Habs had to Play a Leafs' game tonight. Didn't the players realize that when they skated hard and played agressively, they created scoring chan...

What the hell was the Referee thinking. Third period, Buffalo is taking penalty after penalty. Referee calls an obvious spear by Briere on Bonk. Briere is getting thrown out of the game, talks to referee, chats him up for 5 minutes while everyone is wondering what is going on. Referee drops the...

Can't say I saw anything too special about him last night. He seemed a bit slow and lost out there (as did Souray and a couple of others; they really miss the Cube to add some spark).
My goal for the year is to learn how to consistently spell his name right.

Just before the Briere goal, what was that exchange concerning Bonk, briere and another buffalo player all about. It looked like briere hooked bonk and was going to get the gate and then nothing.

Many goalies…including some great goalies…are notoriously slow starters and Huet shows all the signs of being such a guy…as does Abby in fact! This usually means that the first 5 or 10 starts are prone to the odd ‘softy’ finding the twine!!!
So, here is hoping that Carbo instructs a...
