I can't say I am disappointed with the way the team is playing right now.  We have 3 out possible 4 points. 


Ninanma is playing alright for a sixth defencemen - better than I expected - I see him talking it up out there


Ryder continues to be a goal scorer  - I don't know why we don't sign this guy for a 2 or 3 year contract - I have always said this.


Higgins will be our MVP this year if he keeps showing the work ethic he has shown is these first 2 games.


Samsonov - someone tell this guy to shoot.  I think it will take this guy 10 games to get into form.


Souray/Rivet/Markov - who doesn't get signed next year? - I think Markov and Rivet get contracts and Souray doesn't.  I can't see Ninanma getting re-signed


Garth Murray - I don't understand why this guy has a spot on the roster - I'm sure we could have Kosistyn on this line that would provide some spark for Lantendresse.


All in all - I think the Habs are playing up to expectations.

One thing I will say is this. Although it is only game two, it is very apparent that there is very little to choose between Montreal and Toronto at this stage. They are pretty evenl;y matched. Raycroft is playing like the guy who won rookie of the year and is certainly a step up from Eddie the Beagle. THe d is slow but they have some key injuries. I said it before and it pains me to sy it again. Habs and leafs will be fighting for a playoff spot.
