A loss tonight...
(Preview)
...would pretty much sink the Habs to depths that Ol'And-o (and most Hab fans) have NEVER even imagined!!!
Time for our best players to step-up!
Theodore, Kovalev & Koivu need to be the best three Habs tonight!
...I am actually afraid to watch this one!!!
PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE......

Who's to blame?
(Preview)
It's easy to point fingers at players who are underperforming (or just showing their true colours!) .... or who get injured ... but the real blame for this terrible habs season is BOB GAINEY.
Bob made the offseason moves ... BG brought in Bonk and Kovalev, BG let Perreault go, BG put all his fai...

Should Theo do the honorable thing
(Preview)
Should theo pay back part of his salary or agree to extend his contract by 1 year for the same $16M (i.e. spread the $16 over 4 years instead of the current 3 years)?
I believe Theo has a morale obligation to do such a thing.

now, i know he isnt the greatest defensive forward....but this guy is flying over in Nashville...and they got him for absolutely nothing. He is looking alot better than Ribeiro right now. I didnt like losing him...im just glad he went to the west where we dont have to play him much. The guy has always be...

Assistant Coach???
(Preview)
Since the hasb had let go off both Claude Julien and Rick Green, they have only hired Guy Carbonneau. This leaves open an assistant coach's job for the start of next season. The craziest rumor I heard this morning was that Rick Green will be hired again???

My thoughts on this whole Koivu thing.
(Preview)
I'm not really sure why this Saku Koivu issue has gotten so far out of hand. Koivu is a player, just like anyone else. You don't go looking to trade him, but if the right trade comes your way, you can't sit back on it either.
For example, there was a rumour once that Saku wanted to play with his brother in...

Plaster Rock Hockey Tournament

Many of you may recall that I am taking part in the 6th annual "World Pond Hockey Championships" in a little place called Plaster Rock, in northern New Brunswick in February. This thing started as a small event on a lake in Plaster Rock and they now have a waiting list of over 6...

The Dominator provides incentive for those willing to take it!
(Preview)
If Gainey could ever weed-out the problems in the dressing room before the deadline and lead the Habs to a first round match-up versus Ottawa than Dominic Hasek’s words from last night would make it sooooo easy for the Habs to get energized!
How stupid is Hasek to come out and publicly mock a...

Potential Habs
(Preview)
If the Habs are in need of a goaltender, I would try and get Martin Biron from Buffalo. He has posted consistant decent numbers and is only making 2M. He has the potential to become a numebr 1 goaltender and Buffalo is shopping him around. Also if the Habs are to trade Theodore, the be...

The Habs slide began Nov 26 vs. the Leafs! Remember???
(Preview)
The Habs struggled all night to keep their struggling road game together...then the refs blow a call late in the 3rd that enables the Leafs to win in O.T!
...which, in turn, led to Markov drawing a 3 game suspension for shoving a linesman.

Theo to Edmonton
(Preview)
I have a source (not Barry33) who tells me that a deal with Edm is close.
apparently, it would include Theo + Komi for R.Smyth + M.A.Bergeron + one of their junk goalies.
The hangup is that they were hesistant on giving up Bergeron. With Tarnstrom in place, this deal now
makes sense.
