Zednik
(Preview)
I'm a big fan of his and trust that if he can get his confidence back he will be a huge asset in the play-offs. He's never quit but he's got a confidence problem - he's Secretariat until he gets within 5 feet of the net and then he turns into Mr. Ed - you can just sense his indecisiveness when he gets within snif...

A Scintillating Picture..............
(Preview)
I was having a noon-day skate at the old Halifax Forum yesterday, and afterwards went for a quick walk under the stands, looking at the posters and displays showing the history of the old barn, decade by decade.
In the 40's section, there was a picture of the great junior team the Halifax Saint Mary's...

Good ol' ugly win!
(Preview)
Not a great game, but it was digging deep and wanting it more than the Sens and outhustling them in the last 10 minutes. Great game by Komi ,once again, and Zednik was posessed.... Maybe we should healthy scratch the entire team so that they play like Zeds last night!!!

Rule change for next season...
(Preview)
Presently, any player making over the league minimum $$$ who is demoted to the minors is subjected to clearing waivers upon recall (except rookies and conditioning stints).
This rule has pretty much made demotion a death sentence in terms of a career. It also limits the flexibility...

The Rocket and The Habs
(Preview)
I went to see what I guess is the Western Canadian premier of the movie, The Rocket last night and I have to say that I was totally impressed. If you are a Habs fan you will want to see this one. Really got some emotion flowing in me. Sean Avery plays a goon and there are a few other cameos i...

Most fun Habs in years?
(Preview)
Now they've shaken off the dark middle ages, and many, if not all, cylinders are firing...
Is this not the most fun to watch Habs team in years? Especially with Huet in net...
It's nice not to have that slightly sour, dissappointed feeling at this time of year .....
Look how happy I am!!!

How about Murray.
(Preview)
Let us face facts. This guy is our enforcer! First shift on fourth line and the guy takes care of the 260 lb Norton. Something our shadow boxer, didn't want to do. With Murray in the line up, Downey isn't needed at all. Notice how Downey didn't play much second half of game and Habs were much b...
