Not a great game, but it was digging deep and wanting it more than the Sens and outhustling them in the last 10 minutes. Great game by Komi ,once again, and Zednik was posessed.... Maybe we should healthy scratch the entire team so that they play like Zeds last night!!!

I think the reason it was "Not a great game" was because of all the freakin' calls that were made.


I mean it's pretty bad when the announcers for the opposing team disagree with a handful of calls that put them on the PP.


& Vice Versa of course.... some bad calls on them too!!!  Ya add those up, no time to make it a "Good ol' pretty win"

You're right MC. The refereeing was abominable last night. Sneeze on a guy and you got a penalty. Gotta hand it to the Habs that they kept their heads on straight and perserveered. The penalty killing is getting better. didn't do much on all our power plays, though. Hope that end of things picks up.

We really didn't pull our game together until the end of the 2nd. The first period was complements of Aeby.... but by the Third period, we were on a mission.

Coming from behind 2-1 to beat the 2nd best team in the league sounds like a pretty good game to me.  I thought by about the half-way point they were playing great.

I think that's what I said The first period wasn't so hott but they picked it up as the game went on.
Also,  we only played 1/2 of the second placed team in the league, the rest were injured.

Oh, I know.  I was concurring with you.  I was directing that at Saku.  You can't play ugly against a team like Ottawa and hope to win.
