Rem Murray - an amazing story!
(Preview)
Here's another reason to cheer for the Oilers (copied below). As many of you know, my wife suffers from the same disorder that Rem Murray does (Cervical Dystonia). It even hit them at the same time - late 2003. That he is leading a relatively pain-free life, let alone playin...

Tale of two Canes
(Preview)
Funny how two days change things. Saturday night, after a 2-1 loss and a goal that they disagreed with, guys like Brindamour refused to come out and talk to the media because they were sulking. Two days later and another 2-1 score, this time in their favour, and you could not drag their team away from the...

One more reason I hate the Canes.
(Preview)
OK, more than one, but OMG is that announcer guy not the worst?????? I think he doubles as a monster truck comintator. Plus that chick who sings the anthom is terrible. And a woman wore her damn bath robe.

How funny is it that.....

How funny is it that Ryan Smyth dug the silver dollar out of the Canes center ice this morning. & then... the Canes put another one back in.
I wonder what'll happen tonight.

which direction on ufa's?
(Preview)
If the Habs are going to be aggressive in the ufa market, which direction should they go? Should Gainey put all his financial powder and go after the likes of Elias and pay him Brad Richards money, locking him up on a long term deal? Or would he be better served and perhaps go after a couple of second tier fr...

Well, I'll be leaving for Germany for a 3 week stay. It's a business/leisure trip...Has nothing to do with the World Cup...ya right! I'll be in Nuremberg, which is where the head office is located.

Is Bob Competent?
(Preview)
I know Lou Lamoriello is competent
He's hired CJ and put together several great teams. I trust he knows what he's doing.
Where does that leave Bob, who acts like he knows what's going on, but has proved almost nothing so far?

IF these two teams in the finals can make it to the cup, with one of them winning the cup, then why can't montreal be there next year with a couple of pick-ups in the off-season? is there anything standing in their way? can carbo light the spark under his players? can the habs stay healthy all year? Spacek
(Preview)
Whether the Oil win or not. I believe Spacek would be a great signing by the Habs, the guy is one of the most underated d- man in the league. Love to see him and Richard Jackman in habs jerseys. Not top 3 d- man but fairly cheap and great talent!!

Rather than waste money on Downey or Simpson who I admit add toughness. For the same kind of money Gainey could sign the UFA Rico Fata who would bring more to the fourth line in this new styled NHL. We already have Rivet, Souray, Begin and Murray who all can play plus fight so we...
