Last time Theo signed a big contract he stunk it up the next year. Not as bad as this year of course but bad enough to miss the playoffs. I guess that it's happening again. We can look forward to him playing better next year.

From my perspective, a major trade at this time would be terrific, but unrealistic. As I have stated previously the so called marque players on this team are playing at such poor levels, Gainey could not get anything close to fair value. Failing to make a major trade i think Gainey's next best move is to...

2nd game in a row, the guy cant save a bloody thing and ive stood up for him too long...i was giving him until the new year and he hasnt proven a single thing to me, or that he is worth any of that fat contract he is making. Trading him wont do us any good because no one wants a goalie who cant stop even shots cuz it...

The Montreal Canadiens have picked up forward Aaaron Downey off waivers from the St. Louis Blues. The Blues waived the hard-hitting winger last Thursday. The 6'2'' Shelburne, Ontario native has two goals and 45 penalty minutes in 17 games played this season with the Blues. In 137 career NHL gam...

Mitch Melnick and Sean Starr were discussing the problems about the Habs. Sean basically said that Saku should no longer be captain since he doesn't get up and scream at the players in the room. He said they should remove the captaincy and give it to Kovy... He thinks that Kovy is much more vocal and wo...

I have a bad feeling that Gainey will start Theo again because of the GM pride thing! What should happen is chance Theo to clear waivers and send him away to get his head and game straightened out! If someone picks him up, it would free up cash! Either way, I wouldn't care less! To...

we sould call this guy up, hes what we need for tonights game. Avery will try and run Theo and we need a guy like Ivanas there to kill him when he tries. I saw him in the AHL yesterday and he looked good he's faster than you would think so he's not out of position but still makes some good hits, and he fights. Hes...

The players on the team need to fix this themselves. Whatever it takes, go to dinner, have a meeting, stay in a hotel, leave your wives, whatever, just get it together and start playing as a team.

I propose that we each send Mario $5 for a slush fund. The fund covers posters who attend Hab games in enemy rinks and sit among Canuck/Leaf/ Bruin (insert teams) knucklehead fans and watch our Habs lose by 4 or more goals. Should that happen you merely send your tearstained ticket stub to Mario for ve...

He's skilled, for sure, despite his other flaws. And if, as was mentioned before, there are a couple teams eying him (like Washington and I forget who else) maybe we can salvage a decent swap. What do you all think of Ribs to Florida?

Dwayne Roloson will apparently be available for a trade, so that would put Theo well behind Roloson and Biron; or even Giggy and Luongo if those rumours are to be believed. We definitely missed the trade window on this one and BG's efforts to continue to play him to increa...

One poll I saw online had Montreal as the top pick (fans aren't always accurate, right) but I never really thought about it. I'm sure he could be picked up for $1M or less (so $500 for the rest of this year say). I'd be tempted IF we made room via trade of current roster player (while not losing not an...
