Dwayne Roloson will apparently be available for a trade, so that would put Theo well behind Roloson and Biron; or even Giggy and Luongo if those rumours are to be believed. 


We definitely missed the trade window on this one and BG's efforts to continue to play him to increase his value have totally backfired.  I would have to say that it looks like we are stuck with this clown.

What happens if we put him on waivers. I have no idea how that works can someone enlighten me. One thing I know is we are responsible for half of his salary Right???

I think that it goes something like this:

If he is placed on waivers and reclaimed, then the team that picks him up is responsible to pay his salary as pro-rated to the number of games remaining in the season. In other words, the Habs will swallow the portion of his salary that relates to the number of games played by the Habs this season.

If he clears waivers, is sent down, then recalled -- then he has to clear re-entry waivers. This means that the team that picks him up has to pay 1/2 of his remaining salary (as pro-rated to the remaining games), and the Habs keep the remaining 1/2.
