The NHL’s bush-league marketing strategy
(Preview)
The NHL really does have a totally bush-league marketing strategy (at best)! In fact, when it comes to promoting the game throughout North America, the NHL is totally inept in comparison to the other major pro-sports leagues.
For example, ever notice the absolute fanaticism and...

nhl inflation=McCabe resigning
(Preview)
I thought the NHL lockout was supposed to stop this insanity. The Leafs resign McCabe to a 5 year deal worth between 5.5 to 6 million a year. McCabe is a great power play specialist, with a great shoot, but in what was a so called breakout year he was a minus one in 5 on 5 situations. He was a defensive liabili...

Help Wanted: NHL team/Dressing room Leader
(Preview)
(2006-05-25 18:07 posted by Matt Godbout)
The Carolina Hurricanes first round victory is proof that the Canadiens lack leadership in the dressing room; after Saku Koivu of course.
It is common belief with the fans that the Canes would be out of the playoffs right now instead of challenging for a...
