Souray story in Gazette
(Preview)
He was interviewd by Dave Stubbs at a charity event. Souray wants to stay is the title of the story but after reading it I am not sure if he really admitted this. I still get the feeling he would not mind a trade. He will be a UFA at the end of next year so maybe his thinking is to stay...

Riblet reminds And-o of a 'penny stock'
(Preview)
Mike Ribeiro is easily the most hated Hab that And-o can recall!
His famous 'flop' versus the Bruins is/was truly one of those moments that define an athlete, although some feel that his tickle fight with Saku represents the true pivotal moment.
Anyway...And-o can't help but think that 'Riblet...

Available UFA for Habs
(Preview)
If I was Montreal I would look into the following UFA: J. Allison, E. Daze and B. Leetch.
I think either one of these players can add to the Habs lineup and could give Montreal some much needed depth. Which they need on defense.
Thanks,

Lindros to Replace Ribeiro???
(Preview)
what are the chances of BG getting on the phone with Lindros' daddy and getting his son to sign with montreal next year for $1.25 M. Then trade little ribeiro somewhere for a bag of pucks (third rounder, ala Zednick trade). I realize that Lindros might not want to play...

Allison or Lindros as a ‘project’
(Preview)
These two boobs are just embarrassing themselves waiting around for the likes of JFJ to make-up his mind on how he is going to spend the Laffs last few cap dollars! Regardless of what happens though at least one of them (and likely both) is/are going to have major ‘egg-on-their-face” syndrome....

Center or Centre..no matter how you spell it..we still need one!
(Preview)
First of all, I love the Samsonov deal. He brings another element of speed to the team and scoring and dispells the whole "taxes, media, language" issue that has been played like a broken record (BG did not have to overpay at 3.5). Johnson is a nice adition but is more of a role player. Center is not his nat...

Wow, what a change of pace. Gainey gets a few people to sign on the dotted line, makes a few trades, now all I'm hearing (not just from gohabs.com) that Gainey is a mastermind, the habs are a lock for the playoffs, yadda yadda yadda, when just a few days ago they were saying they wouldn't even watch the habs...

Anybody here see the possibility of him supplanting Ribs as 2nd line Centre. He is bigger, stronger, better skater and has played in the Russian Super League. Next to the NHL, is this not the best league around? Think about it.....Kovalev-Grabovski-Samsonov.  ...

Why draft picks?

Bring Jason Allison in; Move Ribs out
(Preview)
Jason Allison would be a deadly fit on the 2nd line and on the PP. He's a big, strong man to knock off the puck, if he put of these numbers in Toronto last year setting up there useless wingers, imagine the numbers he could post with snipers like Kovy, Samsonov, Ryder etc.
