If I was Montreal I would look into the following UFA: J. Allison, E. Daze and B. Leetch. I think either one of these players can add to the Habs lineup and could give Montreal some much needed depth. Which they need on defense. Thanks,

First of all, I love the Samsonov deal. He brings another element of speed to the team and scoring and dispells the whole "taxes, media, language" issue that has been played like a broken record (BG did not have to overpay at 3.5). Johnson is a nice adition but is more of a role player. Center is not his nat...

but i dont feel too good about the Samsonov signing. Sure, hes talented. But he is small...on a small team. And we ALL know that montreal has a hard enough time scoring. Is adding another small ( but talented ) forward really gonna make a difference. You can look at his past stats sure...but they arent ex...
