but i dont feel too good about the Samsonov signing. Sure, hes talented. But he is small...on a small team. And we ALL know that montreal has a hard enough time scoring. Is adding another small ( but talented ) forward really gonna make a difference. You can look at his past stats sure...but they arent exactly the most impressive. His top season in points was 70. He has never played a full season and had a bonified center during that 70 pt season in thornton. I HIGHLY doubt Ribs or saku can provide the same for Sammy. I hope im wrong, but i have a feeling we shouldnt expect any more than 45-55 pts from sammy this year...

I think he will fit in just rite with Kovalev by his side and Ribs in the middle

Even if he scores only 50+ pts, that is more than we got from Zed and Samsonov is also better in the corners and better defensively. Good chance that he also has more chemistry with Kovalev than Zednik and he also makes Kovalev happier, which is an added bonus. BTW, he is short, but he is really built. This kid is strong.
