Still Missing in Action.............
(Preview)
So far, this new format has the new posters coming out of the woodwork. That's a good thing, as Martha would say. The more the merrier.
But we're still missing a few regulars: NOHF, normie, Cleghorn to name three obvious ones. Plus I'm still trying to figure out who the new...

Update on Zednik
(Preview)
From the Toronto Star:
"Plekanec and Perezhogin were making their NHL debuts — the latter in place of veteran Richard Zednik, who suffered a slight groin pull in Boston and, while a no-go against the Leafs, might get back for Montreal's home opener against the Senators Tuesday."
That's good new...

Patrick Roy - interesting tidbit
(Preview)
I was just looking at Patrick Roy's career stats (prompted by an earlier post about him having "average years"). The worst year of his entire NHL career - GAA of 3.20 - was in 1993, the year they won the Cup!

Mario...can you fix this site so that all posts/posters can be seen for each thread???
(Preview)
I like the look of the new format...but the message board needs all "threads", "posts" and "poster names" visible....a MUST have or I am afraid you will lose people!
Love the design and concept...just a tweak here and there will make perfection!
Cheers to you Mario!

Question
(Preview)
I know there are some who feel we are a little weak on defense. I see the Bruins as of yet have not signed Boynton. I really do not know much about the bruins ut I do believe he is a strong defenseman ??? I was wondering what he is asking for and if he is worth trying for. I am not sure if the Bruins would want to tra...

Honestly, this one just blows me away!
Imagine paying out the average salaries that these owners are and NOT insisting that your assets be insured against a career ending injury that is 100% preventable!?!?!
MAKES NO SENSE...common sense issue here folks!

which one is the more useless

You know, i go out of my way to watch the habs games, since i live in Victoria BC , the timing is sometimes hard to do. But there's 3 things i've noticed in just 2 games...... Ribeiro, Dagenais and Rivet. I'm not sure wich one is more useless.... Ribeiro can't use is stick anymore to s...

(Preview)
Ribs needs to work harder and earn more ice time. I still think at season's end he will be amongst the top four Habs in points.
Part of the problem is playing with Dags and Ryder who are not strong defensively.
Ryder is -2/ Dags -3 afer two games. Get rid of Dags for maybe a Bulis and watch Ribs and...

No matter that Hainsey cleared waivers, Gainey was very lucky in not losing an asset for nothing. You can bet that Hainey will be thrown into the next Habs trade for a defensemen.

Guys Relax!
(Preview)
2 games in and if it were up to a bunch of you we would be without half the team.
1. Give Souray, Ribs, Rivet, Saku and Kovy a little time.
2. Like it or not, we are in a bit of a re-building period. It may be a bumpy road this year.
That's pretty much it. Also I'm really excited to be going to catch...

I just couldn't help but watch these dough heads last night give their review of the game. To make a long story short you would think we were 0-2 the way they were slagging everyboby. If you are not named Ribeiro or Dagenais you are fair game. They even brought up the Latendresse card again. I think one of t...

Markov played great!! Him and Boullion are our best d-men so far. If Souray is playing hurt, maybe he should sit and heel his injury while Striet gets some ice time. He will end up hurting us. It's a long season and we need him down the stretch. Just a thought!

When Zednik comes back...
(Preview)
I think he should replace Dagenais on the second line. From what I've seen of him, there's no way he should be playing over Perezhogin, or really anyone for that matter, he is more of a liability with all that stumbling around he does. We could have at least kept Hossa and got rid of this guy, what a joke. Pe...
