I start the youngster. Give Theo a rest and time on the bench to think about his mediocre play

flowerpower · flowerpower

Not sure how many of you saw the blurb on Theo on TSN but it pissed me off. Here we have a goalie that demanded $5 million and they are defending him saying he needs time because he is off to a slow start. Well guess what start another goalie then who is ready to play. They are giving Theo excus...

I say Theo sparkles, our offense has their way with the slow Philly defense but our defense has a few lapses. 4-2 Habs. First line for 2 goals, Ryder (from Plek and Bouillion) and Bonk!! 2 assists for Forsberg. Thx to Zulrath for this quote: "In my opinion, this is the b...

Ando · Ando

I think that adding Zed to the 2nd line is an absolute must, especially since Perezhogin does not look out of place at all skating with Kovy & Koivu! The problem with this is that Zed might think that a veteran losing a slot due to injury is a tad disrespectful. I think the question then b...

This boob is so out of his depth! How long before Mario sends him packing? ...a team like Pitt would be a good place for Alain Vignault to pop-up!

Ok And-O- here comes the "Bonk-Test". Peter Forberg is the most dominant Center the habs have faced yet this year physically (even Lindros is not in the same class). If, as And-0 states, we are woefully small and undermanned at Center (see Koivu, See Ribiero) and if Bonk is the answer to counter said ma...

I sure feel sorry for the Pens, Scoring tons of goals but letting more in and as a result, no wins. These guys need defense and a goalie in a hurry or fire the coach now before it's too late! Souray, Rivet, Ribiero and Theo for Crosby! A good sacrifice for Habs to help out the Pens!

i was checking the qmjhl website to see how our up and coming future star is doing in junior and it says he has only played in six games this year well the team has played 13-14 or something like that. i know he missed a few games to start the year while in training camp with the habs. they ...

2 zip Laffs after one. I am sure that Smiley (aka Mike Sullivan) is simply pleased with the terrific effort the Broons put forth in Period 1, and he's probaly slapping backs and singing their praises right now. I doubt he's pissed. Smiley??? Nah.

Hell of a game from Sak, Begin, Bulis, etc.... If anyone had doubts about our #1 man, please step up and let's hear them after another solid game with 2 points to go along with it. On the other hand Theo is just looking worse out there. He really needs to sit out a game cause he definetly isn't winning us...

Before I solicit a title sponsor on my own, anyone want to sponsor my wallpaper desktop calendar for the whole of 2005-06. I'm putting the finishing touches, and was thinking of asking board members first. Just think, it will be the number 1 item downloaded off my site and people will h...

Saturday night’s match-up with the Islanders drew a capacity crowd of 21,273, marking the Canadiens’ 22nd consecutive regular season sellout dating back to 2003-04!!! Thats quite the fan base!!! Lets see ANY team match that!!!

Here are some early season stats and facts that I found surprising: Nashville 7-0 to start the season Forsberg has no goals (12 pts) Brian McCabe is 2nd in the league in scoring (2G 11A)

Satan has 264 career goals, and I swear he has about 200 of them against the Habs! Even with Buffalo, he scored against us all the time. Entertaining game so far (2-2 after 2) - Habs should be ahead about 5-1 with all the chances they've had. Bulis! For all you old-timers, does he re...

With a quiet week for the Canadiens, the mailbag was a little lighter this week, but there were still some interesting questions and comments that deserve to be highlighted. Among other things, I'll once again address the question of faceoffs, and I'll talk about my 'controvercial' marking scheme...

So far he has been the player we hoped he would be. At the time of his signing BG stated we wanted to sign the playoff Kovalev and not the other one. This guy seems reborn so far. He is showing leadership, grit and yes toughness. I even see this guy backchecking....yes backchecking. I know it's early in the...

After watching a few games this year, the habs defensive zone play needs improvement. While some defensive players have struggled (Souray, Rivet), only Markov has improved. The habs tend to lose control of the puck and have a hard time clearing out of the zone. The habs d-men need to be f...

Breezer has 4 goals, 2 assists and is +2 in the new NHL. Looks like he needed a change of scenery to pick up his game. Other than the goaltending, one thing we are lacking this year is points contribution from our D. Last year we had Souray contributing and that helped us along the way. I would be ni...

My dish finally came back on with 115 left when the Habs scored the 4th goal. Can u imagine that. It is not bad enough some games are not televised, but now I must fight the weather as well. Either way I am glad we won (6-2) I hope we beat philly and I will say a big prayer when we go to...

I thought for sure that news would be coming of a trade immediately after the game! Those two would solve our most pressing needs immediately.

There are rumors (hockeytraderumors website) that a deal has been reached (for announcement after Saturday’s game) between the Isles and the Habs that will bring Niinimaa to Montreal. Names being mentioned as being NY bound are….Rivet…or (gulp) Souray (Why on Earth would BG do that)!...

How many out there would have thought we'd be 6-2 after our first eight games? Yeah, put yer hands down!! This is an infinitely better team than most people ever considered possible. Not only is our first line a truly start line, but we can roll four solid ones, and have three kids who are not just fitting...

Time to wake up and smell the coffee. Just when it looks like he will bounce back Theo let's in a softie(3rd goal.....was he even ready) I'm not one to rag on our players(except Dagenais)but it's time for Theo to elevate his game. Especially with Philly and Ottawa coming up. Ok we still won but............
