Hell of a game from Sak, Begin, Bulis, etc....

If anyone had doubts about our #1 man, please step up and let's hear them after another solid game with 2 points to go along with it.

On the other hand Theo is just looking worse out there. He really needs to sit out a game cause he definetly isn't winning us any.

Wonder where And-o is through all this? Again those who know just know. Watch the games, even the last season and you can sense what players are great and what players are medicore. I wonder if And-o thinks we should now trade for some big men on defense instead? Or perhaps a big man to play nets? Muller93 is only joking around And-o. Hey the Habs are 6-2 so its all good.

And-who is much too quiet tonight.

Trivia for you Andy, who has 8 pts in 8 games, 4 goals and 4 assists, plays the PP, PK and is always on the ice at critical times? You guessed it SAKU KOIVU, the true captain and heart of the Montreal Canadiens.

Nice interview on RDS after the game with SAKS, the sick kid who did the Anthem asked Saku if he could score one for him. Saku said he would try and if he did he would get him the puck. He tried and succeeded, SAK is awesome and that was a hell of an Anthem singer. He should do every game!!!

GO HABS GO!!!

Yes i agree that was one hell of an national anthem singer, and I'm glad Saku got a goal for this amazing kid.  Not to take anything away from the child or Saku but i must say Jan Bulis was by far the best thing on ice tonight.  If he had some goal scoring hands the score would of been alot higher, but anyways we'll take the 2 pts and nothing feels better than a win

Saks did play well...although Bulis and Begin were better!

...and everyone should be glad that Bonk is starting to find his game!

Give it time guys...Bonk assists on the winner...had one disallowed...killed off several penalties...and is starting to come around!

All in all...a good game, although Montreal needs to learn how to finish a team off!

(the FSN color guy who does NYI's games is THE BEST that I have heard.....the CBC should seriously look to add him in place of Harry Neal!!!)

How do you figure Bulis was better than Koivu?

Figaro, at least he gave Saku some props. Saying Bulis/Begin were better was a way for him to remove his compliment towards Sak. Bulis could never be better since he doesn't know how to score. Begin is a gritty player who found the net today, he played well. Good effort andy.

Bulis was a real buzzsaw tonight as was Begin. Getting back to Saku, our Captain has surely elevated his game. Playing with an elite like Kovy helps.

Absolutely...Kovy is the catalyst here...and is just absolutely tearing it up.  And-o gives kudos to those along for the ride as well though...let's just leave it at that for now!

And-o. You are proving more and more each post your complete lack of hockey sense. The longer you deny the truth the more foolish you look.

Lets take a poll shall we? Who here that posts on this board figures Saku is along for the ride?

And who here figures And-o is a Ribero lover and just can't get over the fact that Koivu is now proving why he is the captain and not Ribero?  Let's tally it up shall we. It's o.k to love Ribero and-o but please...

Too funny. I think only and-o hates koivu so no need in taking any polls on this one.

And-o doesnt hate Koivu, he just doesnt see Koivu as a Number 1 Center. He feels #1's should be big hilking guys who can control a game ( Thornton, Lecavalier, Naslund ) But what i feel is that you no longer have to be a huge guy to score points. I never felt that was the key either. Koivu is a very gifted player, he LOVES montreal the city saved his life for god sakes, and he gives it his all every night. Hes so far a point per game player and is doing REALLY well. I dont see why management would want to send a key part of our team away to bring in a new guy especially when that guy your sending out is the longest standing captain in habs history and is your teams heart and soul. Koivu will be resigned long term at the end of the year and we will continue to build towards our cup. Ribeiro is the only guy i have a ? over right now. I know hes talented, very skilled, not the greatest deffensive player but makes up for it on offense but is he the guy we want long run on our second line? i dont know.

Sorry johab, you are incorrect. And-o truly hates the Habs captain, he hates everytime he puts a point up or makes a nice play.

He never has anything good to say about SAK even though he is the captain and heart of his Canadiens. Sometime I wonder if he isn't a Leafs fan.

Yes sir JohnM. No other way to explain And-o. I mean come on, he is performing great offensively, always consistent defensively, positions himself well to hit people, and leads by example.

To top it all off, you saw the complete class act he is in last nights game with that boy.

So I figure that anyone who does not like all those attributes in a leader must have a chip on their shoulder. I have my ideas as to what it is all about and it has nothing to do with hockey. I mean how could it?

In fact I can just imagine and-o sitting around waiting for the day Koivu gets hurt so that he can begin posting the " Oh he is injury prone, I told you so...." message. What kind of habs fan is that???

I can't stand Ribero but if he was doing even a quarter of what Koivu is doing, I would be the first to be excited to have a second line center. As much as I rant and rave about him, whenever he gets the puck I am pulling for him.

So what is it and-o? We would all like to know the real reasons you don't like Koivu doing so well and always have to back up any positives, with a backhanded negative. I wonder what it could be.....

Something to do with big men as JohnM once said? Leafs fan? since you seem to like spock, perhaps you think the captain should be a good actor, like Ribero floping around like he was shot during the playoffs( Even a worse actor than William Schatner I might add). Or Perhaps you could enlighten us. Cause it's gotta be something. Star trek fans can be a little funny you know.

C'mon And-O, the time is right for you to come clean, "out of the closet" some might say.

You think William Shatner is a bad actor? You should hear him sing!
