clear this up for me...
(Preview)
if you check the stats, it says that ryder has only scored 2 goals so far, but , this isn't true or is it? he scored the first goal of the season for the habs(1 goal), he scored in the shoot-out,the winner, so that one should count(2 goal) and he scored last night against philly( 3 goal) sound right?

Peter Forsberg raised Ken Hitch****'s blood pressure recently when he refused to take part in the Shootout against Atlanta. He said he did not have enough sticks. Eventually, he had to take part but failed to score and Marian Hossa put an end to the game. Carbonneau let it be known that if one of t...

This guy isn't in the same league as Huet and his team knows it. That's the reason they play better defensively in front of him. Notice with Huet, they skate with more confidence on the offensive side of the puck.
Watching Abby tonight was painful especially with his terrible rebound c...

Niniima (SP)
(Preview)
Okay first my thoughts about the trade. Seems like a wash both teams lose guys that weren't well liked by fans. I like Ribs more than Janne just because I saw Ribs strive for improvment this year and still think he will have a decent year in Dallas. As far as I know Niniima has no drive, hopefully fellow Fin...

Time to send Downey to the farm and call up Kotitsyn. Being on the fourth line isn't the problem with Lats. It's the linemates. We could have a much better balance attack with this small roster change. Murray could be the designated tough guy when he's needed against a certain team.

Huet vs. Abby
(Preview)
Why is this even a topic? Why is this particular question being polled around town?
Both goalies had one game each...
Isn't Huet our #1? Didn't he get a contract that confirms that, yet 2 games into the season and the goalie contraversy has already begun.
In my opinion Abby is much to shaky to be a s...

Sheesh! Did anyone watch the first few Hab games???
As the Captain said himself..."When you have a 4-2 lead and less than five (minutes) to go, you don't come up with two points, it's very disappointing,"
Thus...Huet sits until the home opener...at least!
It's just as simple as that guy...

Kovy to Centre?
(Preview)
Someone on RDS talkback noted that perhaps moving Kovy to Centre might motivate him to stept it up. This would also permit a move of Latendresse to the #2 line.
Does anyone know if Kovy ever played centre for the Penquins or Rangers?

This is up on the RDS.ca site.
this will be exactly like last year. Guy will get carried away with aebischer playing better than Huet and eventually trading Huet since he does not want to keep a back up with such a high salary. Unless Huet is hurt (groin against Buffalo) , other than that, i dont see any r...

I think the reason the SENS didn't go as far as they did,is because HASEK wasn't in nets, and had to use EMERY,although he played well, the team had to compensate for him,LACK OF confidence,so it takes away the system thats been in place during the regular season, when hasek is in nets.Soooo that being s...

major shakeup at the back?
(Preview)
Gainey seems to be testing things out for a major shakeup on defense.
Many of our guys will be UFAs at the end of this year (Rivet, Souray, Markov, and now Niinimaa), and Komisarek is an RFA. Streit, Bouillon and (I think) Dandenault are the only long-term contracts, and they are relatively cheap.
