Ferguson playing his cards right. McCabe has been saying what all free-agents to be say, that he wants to stay with his team but if it doesn't work out he'll have a chance at profiting after his contract runs out. It's a ploy designed to place the pressure on the existing team to sign before the con...

March 31st is going to be a LOOOONNNGGG wait. Any time i get to see a habs game ( especially for free, front row ) is quite the thing to look forward to. The Habs managed to get 12 points, for a possibility of 14 points in 7 games. It's still the same line up with the exception of Huet replacing Theo. Huet keeps the Habs in the game; therefore, makes the players feel less tense on the ice and gives them a chance to win every single game. Abracadabra...th...

I was looking at the Habs' draft picks who are on the present team: We have 3 first picks on the team consisting of Saks, Komi, and Higgins. We have 3 second picks: Ribs, Perez, Theo. This is where it gets really interesting...The Habs picked up 2 very valuable players as fourth picks: Rivet and Plek...

Huet - I remember the Habs' first home game at the Bell Centre. Players were being called out one by one. The crowd was going nuts! Thoedore recieved one of the loudest ovations. With performances like that...And-o asks 'Math-who'??? Seriously gang...this guy seems to have ice-water running through his veins! ...notice how booming drives merely seem to stick to his equipment!?!?!? It's like the guy is a vaccuum! He reminds And-o sooooo much of Jeff Hacket...

So, were sitting in 8th spot right now, as always when the playoffs are around the corner. We have 64pts, and T.B has 68pts, so with a win on Saturday, we go up to 66pts and T.B stays at 68pts, wouldn't it be nice to come up to the final 10 games of the season with a lock on the playoffs and let another tea...

Seriously??? This guy could not motivate a virtual 'dream-team' of superstars to even compete with the likes of the Swiss let alone guide them to a gold medal at the Olympics. How much worse of a job could a guy do and still retain a NHL coaching job??? Obviously someone high-u...

To be realistic, it all sounds exciting but don't look for Gainey to do much at all before deadline unless the Habs start another free fall. With the Cap thing, teams will have a hard time unloading or having fire sales. Gainey isn't a pro-active or assertive GM! He may grab a Scott Young fr...

Looked great against Chicago tonight! Canucks may be crazy to deal him. This guy could be hungary come playoff time. Don't imagine Naslund being as productive over the last few years without Todd clearing ice room for him.

Rivs is becoming quite the defenceman. He kinda reminds me of Adam foote, but with more offensive capabilities. Guys, this is just such a no-brainer…and the problem hasn’t changed in 10 years…the Habs are brutally thin at the centre position. And-o is truly amazed at how most Hab fans apparently don’t see this fact!!! Consider the top two teams in the NHL standings right now – Carolina & D...
