Funny how with a couple of wins, and a completely barren league-wide trading situation, the desperation has fizzled out of the call for Big Bob to make moves, and quick.
The other thing is that the guys you'd want to trade are either untradeable:
-Theo, Bonk
or just rounding into form (or seem to be):
-Souray, Zednik (too early to tell with him though), Ribeiro
The defense is back to playing decent hockey. Now I have one request for Gainey. The Habs need one more grinding winger as a replacement for Sundstrom, who should be traded.

We desperately need scoring and I hope Gainey is still looking for that. I am a bit concerened that we cannot seem to put the puck in the net (or on the net for that matter) and we are relying on Huet and strong defence to win games. As I stated before., we have 3 defensive specialists coaching now.>jarvis, Gainey and Carbo, so I do not expect Defence to be a problem as long as we have decent goaltending. But I am concerened about a real lack of offense. The Islanders game was an anomoly (5 goals) that had as much to do with good luck and bad goaltending than scoring talent. I fully expect Bob to trade for a scorer (preferably a center) because that is what we desperately need right now. Jokinen would be a good fit.

Your counter's broken, Brook. The Habs are undefeated in the last seven games (yes, agreed, the last two were wins).

It's not the only thing broken. Nil, so if you could get some of that cheap Canadian Viagra off of Barry when you see him, I'd appreciate it!
