Rivet is the most underated D-man in the NHL

Rivs is becoming quite the defenceman. He kinda reminds me of Adam foote, but with more offensive capabilities. This guy is not recognized for the work he does night and night out, and as we all see it, Rivet is always truly celebrating like he cares for the team. This is the kind Dman you build your D around.

Did you see the expression on his face last night when he congradulated Huet. It was a huge smile mixed with some anger. It was great to see. Furthermore, he is the most well-spoken player on the team. His interviews are opinionated and insightful. This guy has all the tools no matter if people him credit for it.

I agree, Rivet has really grown on AB! Tough as nails and respected by his team. Doesn't come across as biased for certain players. Team comes first approach!

Talk about a guy who's turned his game around.  He now keeps things simple and is playing well within his means.

Rivet and Souray (if he gets his game back like he has) are my 2 favorite habs. They are awesome team guys, they are great in the community and they play without alot of recognition. Guys dont kid yourselves..Gainey's phone rings steady with inquiries about those two guys from other GM's.

I agree with you, mostly. Just remember that Souray was stinking up the joint for a lot of this season.
