Just Noticed Something
(Preview)
I was looking at the leaderboard and noticed that we have 9 Overtime loses. That's way too many! I know were not that bad 4 on 4 but I know were are bad in shoot outs. Imagine we picked up wins in half (4) of those games. That would give us 73 points and would put us in 6th place...The days of being happy when we p...

Why all the dissing of Aebischer - he has great stats!
(Preview)
He has a career GAA of 2.32 and a save "percentage" of .915. I dare say much better than Theo's career stats!
So why is he viewed as being so inferior?
I'd like to hear the reasons if they're other than
(1) he played on better teams
- or -
(2) he's lousy this year.
Fact is, (1...

Souray, Rivet and Zed

I'm sure glad that they are still Habs! We need their toughness! We also need Souray and Rivet's leadership!
Some of the best trades are the ones not made!

Signs Of The Zednik Of Old?
(Preview)
Every shift he's been taking lately, he's shows signs of intensity and grit. He starting to look like Zed we all enjoyed to watch. He's tough to get off the puck and he's been getting those scoring chances close to the net like he always did. He's not there yet - he doesn't cut to the net like he used to but at...

canadiens are desperately after Bertuzzi
(Preview)
- The Canucks are getting interest in forward Todd Bertuzzi but the asking price is supposedly a goalie and a defenceman. The Flyers are rumoured to be interested but they're denying it.-SPECTOR TRADE RUMORS-

Theo determined to show Colorado made the better move
(Preview)
''I want to make sure that I show everybody that Colorado made the better move.''
MONTREAL (CP) - Jose Theodore bowed out gracefully from the Montreal Canadiens.
And he vowed to regain his NHL all-star form with his new team, the Colorado Avalanche.

I DON'T CARE IF THEO DOES A GREAT JOB IN COLORADO
(Preview)
I can see it now. If Theo starts having success in Colorado, many posters will start bitching and saying I told you so.
Guys, remember today. This is the reality: Theo had a horrible season, rated one of the worst in the league. It's confirmed that all his problems were bothering many players in the ro...

JUST A JOKE! WE NEED TO LIGHTEN THINGS UP
(Preview)
I friend of mine e-mailed me this when the scandal leaked...Never had the intention to use it until today. I was and still am a Theo supporter. If 50% of you chuckle at this, it's good enough. It's been a tough day in HAB LAND....a little comic relief

Delayed Gratification
(Preview)
We are lucky to FINALLY have a GM who has a grasp of delayed gratification.
Gainey knows that we won't make the Cup Finals this year.
Gainey WILL NOT trade our future to make the public happy.
Gainey will make sure that he gets the right TOP CENTER & MOBILE D-MAN, not the half-assed choices.

Let me preface this by stating once again that And-o DIGS Bob Gainey. In fact, Bob has always been a hero to And-o...always will be!
Having said that...And-o needs to ask Key Lime something right here and now just to set the record straight....

Boom Boom Geoffrion announces he has cancer, and it hardly registers a blip on the GoHabs Board. Jose Theodore gets traded and the place erupts in a cacaphony of passionate posts. (Great one, Habgirl, by the way. You go, Girl!)

I would like to remind everyone of what i said last month, how montreal would not get much for their goltender, I meant Theo, and I was right. This trade has been a long time coming and was in talks when I made the post.

My thoughts about trade
(Preview)
My thoughts are this, I hope Huet does not feel like this was a slap in the face. He has won us some very good games. He has played well under difficult circumstances. I am hoping that Abeshuer(spelling) does play well. I am equally hoping that if he does, Gainey still alternates him with Huet. I still thi...

Let's Just Call Him "Ab"

Guys (and girls) -- the ability of our group to misspell Aebischer is remarkable! What a talented bunch of creative writers we have. So far, I've seen "Abisher", "Abusher", "Aebisher", "Abeisher". "Aibisher", "Abeshier", and even "there goalie".
I agree that Aebischer is too tough to spell,...
