Boom Boom Geoffrion announces he has cancer, and it hardly registers a blip on the GoHabs Board.  Jose Theodore gets traded and the place erupts in a cacaphony of passionate posts.  (Great one, Habgirl, by the way.  You go, Girl!) 


In the big scheme of things, that's totally topsy-turvy.


Speaking of which, I can't believe the Koivu bashing has erupted again.  That horse is dead, And-o & Ab!  (But if it isn't, I'll have to rejoin the fray.  Sheesh.......)


I'm sure Power's peoccupation these days is his new bouncing baby girl (congratulations to the Powers!)  Barry has a new paramour.  Johab and Zulrath have their studies.  David is recuperating from surgery.  As for me, I have two job interviews later today so that's what I'm trying to focus on.


But this board is never boring, I'll give you that!

Let's see...  cacography... cacomistle... ah, here it is cacophony: n. harsh or discordant sound.  Whew, that's a pretty big word for this time of the morning.  You must really be 'up' for your interviews, Nil.  Good luck.

I believe he actually said "cacaphony"....that must be some combo of "caca" (cf. Brook's avatar) and "cacophony" (and possibly a reference to "coca", cf. Theo)...and then of course there's "phony".
So cacaphony means the noisy b******t emitted by a cokehead? It all makes sense.
