Yesterdays game, Montreal vs. Pitt., it is obvious that there was problem with NOT ONLY goaltending but team cohessiveness and players morale. I mean Aebischer had a bad game, he's not perfect. This goaltender before coming to the habs org. was playing with the Avs and he was pretty dam...

Scoring wins over the next 10 games is a must. After these 10, wehave tough games with New Jersey, Buffalo and Ottawa. So far, we have a good look at 7th, with one game in hand left. But, if you lose that game, there is no advantage. Here's our next 10 games: PIT 3-1 vs. WSH 4-2 NYI 3-1 TO 4-5 (OT) ...

They just showed on RDS the team huttled ogether during practice. Koivu was at the center and speaking to every teamate and basically he was clearing the air and telling the Habs to get serious and play with the respect of your teamates. Looks like Koivu is showing everybody why...

Let me rant about this young man who at times shows the potential to be a 35 goal scorer. He plays on about every powerplay, yet when the puck comes to him, he loses it and it gets iced. He never makes a play to another player and from time to time catchs the goalie sleeping and pots one. Its time to give...

Well no doubt Atlanta is playing with urgency. And it looks like TB acquired some after the second period. 5-5 in OT right now after being down 5-1 after 2. Amazing. At least Montreal matched them by coming out hard in the first 10 minutes for once. And a good 2nd period to finish the Caps off. Hue...

...Bob Gainey needs to shoulder much of the blame for at least the past few weeks of Saku's slump! Why is Saku not skating full-time with Kovy and Zed? That line...love them or not...should be made to sink and/or float this team! If Bob Gainey is too stubborn to reunite this line (and A...

It seems that if Kovy is telling Rivet to F off, he not only has disrespect for his co-assistant but probably many players including little Saks. Maybe Gainey needs to make a choice? Since he can't trade lucky Saks, he might want to consider trading Kovy for a player who will tolerate the leaders...

First if all, please do not take this as Koivu bashing. We have had enough of that. This is simply what I would say if I were Bob Gainey before the game tonite. These two guys need to be called out. The Laffs are now a mere three points back because Kilger of all players scored on a penalty shot. We absolutely have to win both back to back games against them because we don't want to be chasing for the last playoff spot. Those two games are 8 points in all. If we win they're done and wont...

Bob Gainey's style, in my opinion, has strayed from his earlier success. What happened to always advancing the puck? What happened to a tenacious forecheck? What happened to the forwards almost beating the d-men back to help the goalie? What happened to sticking up for your m...

Assuming that Boullion is out for the next 2 games and Markov is questionable, I would play with 7 defensemen tonight... Have Markov play on the PP and a couple of odd shifts. Not more than 10 minutes. Have Simpson play 10-12 minutes also. That would leave one less forward. Perfect! Make Kovy play e...
