How Heet_150 stole 10 minutes of my life
(Preview)
I saw his avatar, and became mesmerized. Everytime Kovy lays into Tucker, i would smile a bit bigger, until my phone rang and I had to answer it. Heet, where did you find the video?

bg quotes from team990
(Preview)
listening to team 990 they has bob (boob on this subject )he basicly said bulis is sitting because he(bulis) wants to be on an offensive player and bob doesnt think there is room on this team for him in that capacity. this is my paraphrase from what i heard in the interview.

Anything to say now? In all honesty, I'm just happy that they won and Koivu got the winner. He deserved it...40 assists on the year..not too bad. -- Edited by Key Lime at 22:14, 2006-03-30

Question Off Topic
(Preview)
Anyone know Howie Carr the radio talk host. I know you get him up there because just this week he got a call from Montreal. He is coming to the Cape Sunday for a book signing, and I am going to see him. Not sure if anyone wanted one of his books signed. If you do I would get you one and send it up to you.

Chris higgins Apreciation Thread
(Preview)
Could anyone imagine this guy's ability to play??? He is a natural, accentuates Koivu's abilities and stickhandles almost like a magician. This will be the core of the Canadiens for years to come, and i'll write it in stone...He will be Captain of the Canadiens in the future. Higgins is the sec...

Alright, we can more or less say every game from here on in is the MOST IMPORTANT game of the season. IT would be nice to win them all, god knows i wish we would, but its unlikely. Im going to come off and say we are going to lose tonight against the bruins. Especially with Kovalevs knee injury ;)

Does the 2, 5, 10, and game combo get him suspended? Surely not. A little harse on the call, but ya gotta stand up for any goalie who plays like Huet has.

GOing for the longest winning streak of the season. 6 tonight. Huet SHOULD and BETTER get the start in goal again. Im sorry but with how close things are, you milk the cow till its dry and we are ASSURED our spot. THEN play Johnny 5!
Hope the Ryder-Koivu-Higgins line is still intact. Higgins has been IN...

See that iceberg Bob???
(Preview)
Too many missed opportunities to put the game away last night (especially on the PP) resulted in Koivu receiving +20 minutes of icetime...while Souray & Rivet each logged +28 minutes! In addition to this, Markov saw +24 minutes of icetime!!!

NHL Rivalries?
(Preview)
There is a lot of debate on this depending on who you ask and I wanted to know what the concensus is on the best current rivalries in hockey? I live in Calgary, so I am more aware of the Western rivalries. Interested to see what the folks out east (or even on the West coast) think?...

lucky win, but......

I am very glad the habs won last night, but the only problem was that a few players( not saying who) thought that they had to take on all the caps players by themselves last night. it would have been nice to see them beat all the caps players, but, it only ended in a turnover! THERE IS NO " I" IN TEAM! GO LES CANA...

Is Gainey making a mistake?
(Preview)
Shouldn't he try to lock up Huet now rather than wait for a potential bitting war on him in the off season?
There's a big need for quality goalies around the league!
Huet is saying all the right words now but like 99% of the players, it'll come down to the money aspect.

Our PP was lousy.
(Preview)
We had 12 PP. last night and we didn't take advantage. Trying to get too cute with the puck rather than letting the point men blast away and going to the net for screens or rebounds.
The lack of urgency on the PP could of cost us the game.

Game quotes following the game
(Preview)
i focused primarly on Saku Koivu who snapped a 23 goalless streak scoring the game winner in OT.
Saku's quotes:
“Huge win for us”:
“This point (OT winner) might be very valuable in the end”.
All I was thinking was “… make the team win. Not scoring didn’t bother me too much”.
&nbs...

My Take on The Game.

Well guys. Of the 2 games ive been to now, 2 wins. And both just as exciting as the other! This one could have had more goals. But they way it finished made up for it. Kolzig was awesome, dont let the score fool you, he played amazing. As did Huet, except on the first goal.
