lol! Good one! I'll have to keep my eyes open for more of these pranks today.
Anybody old enough to remember Sidd Finch? (I know Johnny USA knows whereof I speak.)
Honestly, I never could figure out the love affair* sports fans had with George Plimpton. I actually read Paper Lion twice to see if I had missed something the first time. Although, that (the Sidd Finch) was a pretty good story.
*Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I love George Plimpton (not in the Biblical sense*)! I have the book (I forget the name) he wrote about caddying for a PGA pro during a tournament. I found it fascinating reading.
*Not that...........you know.

Perhaps his style is geared more towards old farts.

Alright guys (you too macneil), I'm all for a good laugh, but cut that out! Anybody old enough to remember Sidd Finch? (I know Johnny USA knows whereof I speak.)
I still have that copy of Sports Illustrated. It was well written(Finch article) Actually I still have 10 complete seasons of SI stored away. From 1981-1991. It's great going back and perusing the Hockey editions and the Swimsuit editions. And yes, the collection is in mint condition.
