Game on!! NYI vs MTL Oct 22
(Preview)
Wow! What a start! Koivu and Kovalev are making fools of the Islanders! In fact, the whole team seems to be flying.
2-0 so far - PP goals by Koivu and Kovy (2pts each so far.) Ryder is playing. Begin is on the 3rd line and Dandy is on the the 4th.
The Isles can't s...

Maybe one of the administrators could contact FF and see if he can come out and play!?

Predicting, news and chatter - post it here.
I'd like to think that the previous game vs BOS was the start of bigger and better for our Habs. Our checking line shoudl have a field-day. I'm going on 6-2 with Bonk, Bulis and the top 2 line account for the rest.

Depth
(Preview)
I wonder if anyone can comment on the Habs depth this season, given that most of the names we are used to hearing about when we discuss depth have now been given jobs with the team (perez, pleks, higgins) or have been traded (ward, hossa, balej). Where does that leave the team this year in the depth chart?...

It looks like another hab has fallen to the injury bug. Sundstrom is inured with a groin injury.

Ok..the time is quickly approaching that Zednick returns..the burning question is..what to do with Perez when that happens? My thoughts are that you keep him on the number one line, no matter what. Rivet has been one of our most consistent D-Men this year. I think most of us thought it would be hard for him to adapt to the new NHL but he has done a nice job of it. He doesn't make spectacular plays but he is solid. I think the fans are waiting for him to make a mistake, not sure why???
Nice to...

Radek Bonk - disappointment so far
(Preview)
Well the big center has been a bit of a disappointment so far. According to upper management they expected this guy to contribute 20-30 goals, 50-60 points and be a big shutdown guy. So far he has 2 assists and is even in the +/- category. He's averaging close to 16 minutes per game.
He needs to pick up hi...
