Whats the chance of the Pens making a big deal to bring them a few players. They need a goalie and defensemen. They are falling fast. You know what deal i would like ???????

Kovelev didnt' practice today because he hurt his finger. i did notice him shaking his hand in a simalar motion as he did in the playoffs too years ago last game but i thought he was faking again. I hope he plays tommorow but if he doesn't i would put up Higgins and leave Pleks on the 4th. Pleks...

Why can't the p Play seem to do anything? I really wish Souray would play like he did two years ago. The blistering accurate shot.

Does everyone notice this Habs team is very balanced. There are no players with so many points that makes them so much better than others. This could be the most balanced team we've had in awhile. We need to get our "D" contributing points wise and the team will soon be firing on all cylinders. ...

He will play on the 2nd line with Ryder and Ribs. They haven't decided whether they will play 7 D or not. If they do it will mean Pleks/Higgins will get limited icetime on the PK and when another forward subs in on the 4th line. -- Edited by JohnM at 21:48, 2005-10-26 -- Edited by JohnM at 21:49, 2005-10-26

I actually was thinking Ribero was having a better game( in the offensive zone) than Saku tonight. And then he scored the game winner. Still find him a bit flaky but if he brings his level of play up, we may have ourselves a second line( I think Zed will help as well). Begin was outstanding again tonight...

Well another bad storm (part of the hurricane) has again taken out my signal on the dish . I did get a little of the game. Would someone please tell me where this guy Pierre Mcguire came from. He is on TSN. He appears to be very one sided against the Habs am i correct?????

+20 minutes of ice-time (3 min more than Ribs). Even +/-. The most shifts of any forward. 5 minutes of PP ice-time. Only Bulis and Begin had more PK ice-time (by seconds). Only Bulis and Begin had more even strength ice-time (by seconds). 63% face-off wins.&n...

So far this year, I am happy to see that fighting is on it's way out of the NHL. Fighting majors are way down. i have to admit though that I was once a fan of the Don Cherry school of hockey (i.e. I used to love fighting). It has no place in the new NHL.

There are three things that have lifted the Habs from retread wannabes to Conference leaders. Item number one is Bob Gainey, but I think that one is indisputable. Item number two is an increase in player talent, and once again, there won't be many debating that point. Item number three, however, is on...

Hose-boy may not be playing at his best yet, but I'm still glad he's in net for the Habs. We all know he has the capability to dazzle. I'm sure he'll do so again. What I can't figure out is why he seems to playing so much of every game from his knees? The two soft goals-against in the Isles game were both scored...

For those of you who may have watched the highlights on TSN, there was a tragic accident at the Univertsite de Moncton vs Acadia game Saturday in Moncton. Sebastian Savage., a third year U De M player, went head first into the boards while racing for a loose puck. It was purely an accident as the Acadia pl...

It's not just because it benefits teams like the Habs, but I LOVE the new NHL. Skill is taking over from brawn, and as a result you get games like tonight's. The Habs didn't have to fight through boring trap-style defences, and the Flyers were forced to use their skilled players a lot more to ke...

"Montreal is 6-2 and Theodore hasn't even found his groove yet, wait'll he finds his groove..." Everyone has their little beefs and gripes about this roster...but I think we all have consensus on this one!? Imagine if Theo had started like he finished versus T-Bay in '03-'04???&nbs...

From what I've seen so far, I am not a fan of Mark Streit. They've been using him on the point on the power play, and being a left-handed shot playing the right point, he's been scraping the puck off the boards on his backhand all night. I noticed they took him off the PP in the third period.&nb...

Is Ribs goat to hero? I don't buy it yet! He still isn't playing like last season but it's a start especially if it was a confidence problem, the goals will help. Is Ryder our next goat or is it because of injury? This guy just doesn't look right to me! Shoots when he should pass and vice vers...

I say again, Jan Bulis is the present-day second coming of Russ Courtnall. For those of you who remember Russ, he could skate like the wind, had a great shot, had breakaways all the time, but had a hard time denting the twines. That's Bulis today. Boy, if the dam ever breaks, this guy...

After watching the game tonight I am still seeing that the habs defense play needs improvement. It's only really minor things that need to be tweaked. I counted at one point over half a dozen mistakes by our defensive players (turnovers, losing the battle for puck, slow jump to get to the...

It sounds to me that Theo is playing well. Pierre Mcguire drilled it into the TV Viewers before my signal went out, that The Flyers have won the last 6 games at Montreal. I know I've participated as much as the next guy, but the theo bashing is all sounding the same now. Yes, he is playing well below his ability (and the level for which he is being paid), but his problems are so obvious that they have been spelled out enough already.
