Why can't the p Play seem to do anything?  I really wish Souray would play like he did two years ago. The blistering accurate shot.

I think there are two main problems on the PP.

1) We have a hard time gaining the zone, the guys shoot-ins are usually intercepted by the opposing goalies and shot down the ice, 20+ seconds lost here. Markov and Bouillon seem to be the only D who can get it in there along with Kovy and Sak at forward. Work needs to be done to gain the zone.

2) Shots from the point do not get through the traffic, this will be harder to solve considering there are alot more bodies trying to block shots with the new rules. I say get Souray shooting hard and people won't want to block those shots.

One solution is to try Kovy, Sak or Ribs at the point. I hesitate using Ribs there cause if he gives it up there's no way he can catch another player streaking in on Theo. So put Sak or Kovy on the point with Souray and leave Markov with Bouillon for the 2nd minute.

Well that sounds like a goo solution. If they could just score on 25 percent of the p plays we could do even better.

I think that the PP issues will be resolved with time and effort!

I predict that a road game will help immensely...cuz +20000 people screaming "SHOOT" does not help!

I'll chalk one BAD game up to Streit...and hope that he can get the puck on net (or at least in deep)...and Markov needs a bit less ice-time if CJ expects him to contribute to the PP...Souray needs to step-it-up too.

No worries...it will come!
