Koivu's Games Played
(Preview)
I got bored this morning and figured I'd make a graph of Saku Koivu's games played from his early days till the season before the lockout just so you can have a visual perspective of how often he's on the ice.

Straight From The Heart

After twenty years watching my beloved habs, I was always thinking they stood what hockey was all about tradition passion and most of all heart. Even since the bashing has begun I have stayed positive. I cant do it anymore

Players that must go!!!
(Preview)
i said it in my last Koivu post...Plekanecs should be our first line center. He brings a ton of creativity and speed to our line up, doing things Koivu is afraid to try! I know you guys might disagree with me but here is a list of players we should be getting rid of;
Sundstrom- i dont even know how he plays i...

The REAL problem in Habland (this one is for Cleg)!
(Preview)
A total lack of...and total disrespect for...overall team toughness!!!
This creampuff over gravy & grits philosophy has cost us on virtually every level for at least 10 years now.
Just think of all the "scorers" who came to Montreal and suddenly lost their offensive capabilities! ...

Proposition
(Preview)
I have a proposition for all of you folks here. When we have conversation, is it possible, that we would discuss under the the same header? Not like Koivu, Ribeiro and Theodore conversations, which are spreaded for several little ones. For example, when someboby starts a topic for game Habs-Philly o...

Time to give Plecs top line and move Saks down to second line! If Plecs is just as unproductive as Saks on our supposed first line then I'll blame the line mates!
Our first line has about two goals in the last five games!

Totally feel sorry for this guy being caught up in the middle of Gainey's politics!
If it were'nt for that bone head contract to Theo, Huet would already be our #1! That's not saying much is it?
I'm tired of our peewee goalies who think they can play butterfly like Roy!

Theo--Really really bad. Pathetic actually. But who wants his huge contract now? We are stuck with him.
Ribero---A pure joker and everyone in the league knows it. NOBODY would even offer him a spot on their team. He's worse than I thought! we are stuck with him.

Disgusted to be a Habs fan

I didn't even feel this bad when montreal didn't make the playoffs the other years. This is ridiculous. I don't even want to watch them play. I have tickets to go see the Habs in Buffalo on Apr 12th - I am not even looking forward to it. This is a disgrace.

Jose, Can You See?

So here's what I saw when Carolina goal #5 Went in:
Bonk, Souray, and Ryder, each with a foot in the paint or close to it, industriously wacking away at the puck with their heads down.
What in the name of John Ferguson happened to that old Howie Meeker axiom, "Play the man and not the puck?"

Whichever way the Saku domino falls will pretty much dictate how the Habs will look going forward!
