Can we get it on Direct TV????

JohnM · JohnM

Anyone know if the show The Habs This Week is gonna be back on? I looked forward to it every Saturday night on Montreal's CTV.

This kid broke in with the Caps a few years ago and looked like a real keeper! He skates really well and moves the puck well. He was never overly physical, although more than big enough to handle the rough going. He didn't play last year at all...according to the TSN stats...and he is totally u...

Does Ottawa have a good back up goalie??????

davidb · davidb

I watched the game last night. During the shootout all they had to do was lift the puck and they could have beat hazek. He is too good along the ground and 5 hole. I hope the boys were watching. He still let up five goals which is a lot for him.

davidb · davidb

can someone again explain to why the game is not on. Is something to do with affiliates or something. Thanks in advance

davidb · davidb

I just looked at the line up of games tonight on Direct Tv and OLn and the Canadiens game is not listed. This better be wrong, but it also happened two years ago. I got all excited to see a Habs game and sat down popcorn and brew in hand an Nothing Na Da.

I'm worried the Habs will squeeze their sticks too hard at home with the home town pressure! They need to skate hard and play solid defense. Also keep a close watch on Heatley/Alfredson and Spezza. -- Edited by AB Habman at 18:20, 2005-10-11

Mario and I were discussing a save made by Hasek last night. He did a split that I have never seen before. That split may have possibly caused him some problems. Remember (and they mentioned this last night) Hasek has had bad hernia problems. Maybe he did something to re injure himself and they are not sa...

Anyone saying Theo is playing ok should look at his GA and SV% against other goalies in the league. So far he has been anything but a $5+ million dollar man. There are going to be games where we need Theo to win it for us, like Luongo is doing in Florida. Tonight will likely be one of those games. Is he worth th...

...or are the Sens the only team in the division I'm worried about at this point? For some reason, when it comes to the Bruins, Sabres and Leafs, I don't feel too threatened. -- Edited by Zulrath at 11:59, 2005-10-11

I remember posting about Pens needing Goaltending and they should play Mark-Andre Feury. Well they did call him up while Thibault is resting his arthritic legs and he made 38 saves tonight. Not his fault at all! Man do the Pens ever need some defense!! or 5 goals for a game on av...

Since you are so good at detective work, why done you come down to falmouth (Cape Cod) we are currently short one detective.

Hasek will sit out tonight (according to TSN - no reason given so I imagine it is just to rest his bones). This is a golden opportunity for the Habs. They'll be facing an unknown and hopfully will light him up.

The second game decided in a week by a shootout between the same teams. It's no way to decide a competition, and it would be a shame if two teams that had been battling hard for 8th place down the final stretch had to decide who's going to the dance by this method. Especially if the Habs and Leafs we...

watched the game last night. After the habs got down by a goal in the third, who brought them back? That's right, Koivu. Just almost by himself made the leaf defense look stupid then Begin got the rebound. I am suprised no one, in previous posts, mentioned that pivital point of last nights game. W...

I hear great things about a young kid named Tavares who plays for your local team, the Oshawa Generals. 9 goals in 7 games - and he's 15 years old! Is he "The One After the Next One"? What can you tell us about this kid?

In this new NHL, a lead is worthless until time runs out. What I mean is that even if you are up 2, 3, 4 goals, you cannot stop attacking. Every game I watch it seems one team takes a lead, sometimes a substansial lead at that, and the team that trails comes back. I really get the feeling that whoever...

Is it just me or does it look like the Flames are under too much pressure and squeezing their sticks too tight. They have to remember their success came from hard work and not fancy play. They need to get back to basics and a little defense would help. I hope they can put some wins together a...
