We need to expect.....
(Preview)
We now need to expect alot less from Souray to tolerate him as he is damaged goods and may never be able to shoot accurate and hard again! No other team will want to gamble on someone with one good wrist so we are stuck with him. I still think he can help us if he just concentrated on defensive play only...

I have confidence in Bob
(Preview)
I believe he knows what he is doing, he did a good job in Dallas bringing a team together, I think he knew what he was doing when he called up Hainsey, he knows how the waivers works and he knows what he needs. I think we should just give him time to make the move he wants to make and see what happens.

Two bonehead moves!
(Preview)
The first one was Markov's brain cramp and now Gainey's turn! Why would he expect Hainsey to clear waivers a second time when he knows he would have to pay half his wage. Jackets now pick up a first round draft choice with potential to be late bloomer for half price!
Gainey should of left h...

Careful for what you wish for....
(Preview)
For everyone who is waving the pink slips with such ferocity...
Imagine.. we could have Ted Nolan coaching, Phil Espo as GM and maybe this years version of Andy Moog in goal, with an untested backup
Is that really what you want, and would you be willing to give it all away after a few injury plagu...

Way too early to get rid of BG
(Preview)
Now I hear people calling for BG's head. Gimme a break
So, the car he built is looking a little wobbly, but give him a chance to fix it, If he does nothing over the next month to try and address all the gaping holes in his plot, then feed him to the lions, and I'll be the first to pour the ketchup on him. (lio...

Why not...
(Preview)
After we totally hit bottom then maybe Gainey will make a trade to fill some needs. Like I mentioned before, he is so patient!
Why not do the obvious and trade away something another team may want to get quality in return. We have too many checkers that can't fill the net like Bonk, Begin,...

Hainsey for Federov

If we were not going to use Hainsey this year at all shouldn't we have shopped him around. In hindsight we could have probably got Federov for Hainsey.

Leafs and their 5 on 3s
(Preview)
Just watched some TO and Tampa game. Tampa is called for a penalty. Right off the ensuing face off Tampa called again. I cannot believe it, those Leafs and their 5 on 3s. I started to watch the Flyers Devs game, but Kerry Frazers hair was too glossy and the glare was too much. I bet if it was hit by a puc...

To and From
(Preview)
How on Earth did the Habs go:
from a team able to roll four solid lines to one with one good line - currently stone cold - and three sets of "fillers"?
from a team with an embarrassment of goaltending talent to one with one underachieving has-been and a bunch of unproven question marks?
from a tea...

The Montreal Canadiens have hit a bit of a roadblock of late, going 3-4-3 in their last ten contests.

Why is it that with an inexperienced defenseman playing that the two most confused looking people out there were River and Bouillon? There were many times when neither could figure out what the other was doing. Those two looked absolutely horrible out there last night. I...

It seems that many of my posts lately have been in defence of CJ and I would really rather focus on more positive things so after this one I will continue to read and respect everyone's opinion regarding Claude's ability but am gonna stay clear of commenting. One of our biggest assets is Theo to unload cap room and bring in key players! Why not trade him in a package and try to land a center, d-man and another goalie!
The trade I would consider looking at that is available is with a Luongo package and another is with Vancouver. How about Theo and...

Toronto Maple Leafs on CBC Montreal
(Preview)
Here is something I don't understand. What's the point of airing on CBC on Saturday night games showing the Toronto Maple Leafs in the province of Quebec. The CBC must have no ratings at all for that time period, the majority of all hockey fans in Quebec will watch the Canadiens. Even if it is in Fr...

When Can I say its a coaching problem
(Preview)
When can we say the coaching staff is somewhat responsible for the play of this team. Its 3-0 and enroute to a very bad loss. I know we have 4 out but as far as I am concerned this is also right on the door step of Gainey starting with the loss of Hainsey. 12 Shots and 3 goals Theo letting in ...

I was hoping that you would be right and the Habs would ride an emotional train and put together some wins! That would be a good way for an average team to pick up some points!
