Why is it that with an inexperienced defenseman playing that the two most confused looking people out there were River and Bouillon? There were many times when neither could figure out what the other was doing. Those two looked absolutely horrible out there last night. I would give them an ounce of slack if their screw-ups were only late in the game where they were tired from all the minutes being short defensemen, but it started on the first shift. Sad state of affairs when Streit looked like he belonged out there more than those two.
On that note (being short defensemen), it looked as though the whole team was so worried about defense, that they were afraid to play any offense. Sure there were some moments when they nearly generated scoring chances, but there was that trepidation in their style of play that kept them out of the offensive zone.
Looks like the lack of confidence bug that has stricken Souray and Dagenais is contagious.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Rivet had a bad game last night, but he's our best defenseman standing at the moment (Cube a close second or maybe 1(b)).
Last night around 3-0 I started thinking we need a good fight to get the team fired up. Problem is, Rivet is the only fighter on the team, so we can't afford to have him in the box. Maybe barry33 is right (he usually is ), we should call up Ivanans. Can he be worse than Dagenais?
