Toronto Maple Leafs on CBC Montreal

Here is something I don't understand. What's the point of airing on CBC on Saturday night games showing the Toronto Maple Leafs in the province of Quebec.  The CBC must have no ratings at all for that time period, the majority of all hockey fans in Quebec will watch the Canadiens. Even if it is in French.  The CBC would probably get better ratings in Montreal by airing a movie rather than showing the Maple Leafs on Saturday night.

I've had that same thought myself many times.
