Streit going for the GOLD!!!
(Preview)
Our favorite porous yellow object other than Spongebob Squarepants will be hoping to mine a little Olympic metal this year for his beloved Homeland of neutrality, cheese and chocolate.
Hope we see them in the final. Oh, that's him second from left.

Recent Passings (for Normie)
(Preview)
Hi Normie:
I thought of you as I read of two sad passings on Tuesday:
(1) Canadian golfing great Stan Leonard, who died at 90. He was a three-time winner on the PGA Tour and one of Canada's best golfers ever. From your neck of the woods, too. Have you ever met him?
(2) Master Brew...

Politics Alive and Well at Team Canada
(Preview)
You know, you hear all the time that politics play a big part in minor hockey and it is true. Many times kids are chosen not for their ability, but for other reasons. Maybe their Dad owns a Canadian Tire and will donate some money for road trips or free pucks, or one of the Mom's is good looking and single (no...

Question for everyone Pls help
(Preview)
I was watching a game the other night. LA was losing so they pulled their goalie (garon). Then LA iced the puck so the face off was in their own end. Garon went back into the net, only to be told by the ref to leave because you cannot make a player change when you ice it. The face off was in their end with an empty...

An excellantly coached game. Good line match ups and knowing exactly who to use in the shootout. Hopefully this game will shut a few people up.

I'm leaving for Florida on the 25th of December, and I'm gonna be down until the 7th of January, and I just found out that I'm gonna have tickets (as a xmas gift that I accidenetly stumbled upon) to the Habs game on the 30th of December. Should be exciting, I also told Mrs. Luongo that i was heading down, and...

We would still have two MAJOR problems that do not seem to have easy fixes:
1. Ribero as a second line center is a real problem...What about landing Doug Weight? I hear he is available( although I believe he has a "no trade" clause that he can exercise).
2 Theo. What on earth do you do with this guy? I th...

Some things i found out today. In the morning skate yesterday when Spezza was told that Huet was the starting goalie his response was "they are going to need two goalies". Think again Jason. An apology to those with monkeys
(Preview)
Earlier today, I made a flippant remark regarding the correlation between our chances to win against Ottawa and the unlikely issuing forth of monkeys from my behind.
I realize now that not only did that show a great lack of faith on my part, but the image of our simian brothers trapped in my foulest...

I propose you set up a paypal account, and we can donate to the best of our abilities to help you ease the burden a bit.

Pierre who?

This is an unintentionally funny quote about Dagenais from Hasek:
"I don't know who scored on the first penalty shot, but I know Kovalev and he has everything."
I also, of course, love his capsule on Kovalev. It is great to have him back!
