disappointing
(Preview)
I have to say, it was depressing seeing how few people responded to Barry's decision to take a break.
This board has turned from friendly to nasty over the last couple of weeks. There's been too much of a rush by a couple of people to judge and criticize other members for having an opinion. Or for not f...

Habs New Years Resolution
(Preview)
PAT HICKEY, The GazettePublished: Monday, January 02, 2006
It's not difficult to figure out the Canadiens' New Year's resolution.
"We had the effort out there, but it's not enough; we need some points," captain Saku Koivu said after the Canadiens dropped a 5-3 decision to the Carolina Hurri...

You said your able to make seperate boards for different topics. How about an Anti-Theodore board where everyone who hates theodore can go and post there as much as they want so we dont have to listen to the same crap over and over again. I dont know why people keep bringing it up. Its only been said a gazzi...

Koivu and Bonk taking time
(Preview)
PAT HICKEY, The GazettePublished: Thursday, December 29, 2005
The Canadiens are keeping their fingers crossed, but there's no reason to believe centres Saku Koivu or Radek Bonk will be back in the lineup during the team's current road trip.
Both players were expected to join their teamma...

As the Montreal Canadiens battle through what seems to be countless injuries, the team has not yet received the support needed from key members of their roster.
Wingers Alexei Kovalev and Michael Ryder appear to be doing all they can, and while the Canadiens have sold out ever...

If we lose, Heads should roll and firings happen
(Preview)
Now that I have your attention, I just needed to vent. Everyones back and we should win. So if we do not win this is our team for the rest of the season. We can sit here and like what we see as the status quo or Gilette should fire BG and the entire coaching staff. I have always been against firing the coach, but...

RE: About CJ being fired
(Preview)
No No No. Lets take a look shall we? The habs have these huge problems:
1. No second line center. I mean NO second line center +++++++
2. Our number one center is small and hurt 50% of the time( much to the bizzare delight of And-o, but And-o does speak the truth--Koivu is hurt alot).
3. Our goaltendi...

And say the hell with the olympics. As far as I am concerned, he should put the Habs and Habs fans first and not risk another injury. Send Bonk in his place he looks finish in fact Bonk is Finished lol -- Edited by davidb at 20:59, 2005-12-31

I'm new here and hi..
(Preview)
This is the first year I am following the Habs every game and my take on their losses to teams like the Panthers is inconsistancy. As usual, Theodore was keeping the snipers at bay while the defensemen were staring stupidly at the action, or tipping the puck towards their net. When Huet wa...

Memo To Bettman: We Need teams in Mexico City, Jamaica, and Barbados
(Preview)
Dear Gary: The ice is not quite bad enough in hockey hotbeds like Atlanta, Tampa, and Miami. I really suggest that you look at expansion into Mexico and Jamaica. The only decent ice the Habs have seen on this road trip is in their glass.
The ice in Atlanta was horrid, Tampa was worse, and Flori...
