Now that I have your attention, I just needed to vent. Everyones back and we should win. So if we do not win this is our team for the rest of the season. We can sit here and like what we see as the status quo or Gilette should fire BG and the entire coaching staff. I have always been against firing the coach, but I have had just about enough. We could not beat the Hamilton Bulldogs if we tried
Well we didnt win so I hope the god heads will roll. I cant understand why we have not made a trade by now sure the god gainey and others dont thik we can make the playoffs with a defence core like this. And theodore well thats a nother topic all together.lets think for a good word oh yeh suckssssssssssssss..needless to say hes not on the olympic team...good for you gretzky. And for those that think we dont need a trade who ever the hell that might be . one win on the road in 13 games..unbelieveable??????????????????????????????????????????????
Everyone talks about making a trade ... but it's hard to imagine what the Habs have that other teams would want.
With the Phone Booth selling out every game, it doesn't seem likely that management will trade Theo for offence or defence. It would look too much like the Habs are throwing in the towel on the rest of the season.
Look at Zednik, Bulis, Ribeiro, and everyone else who is not Kovalev, Theodore, Markov, and Komisarek (yes, you keep him for the future -- everyone knows that solid Defencemen are not born overnight). Given their stats this year -- which is all that counts considering that such is the only data in the New NHL -- what could we possibly get in return that would turn this team around?
I'm sure that Gainey is trying as hard as he can to make a sensible trade. The problem is that he has to try to make gold out of coal.
Firing the coaches and management won't do a bloody thing. Current management is still trying to do damage-control on problems caused by previous management.
well jonny I agree with you hole heartly, in my frustration to last nights loss I was venting some anger It will be hard to find a good trade unless montreal is willing to deal some big names like Ryder.. and that would surely be a mistake..so by the looks of it we will have to keep what we have..maybe with any luck at all we can hire the ghost busters from the 80's to transfer the ghost from the old Montreal forum to the bell centre.

You mean that you would actually consider trading Koivu?! Is he not untouchable?!???? I am positive this must be a typo or oversite on your part and you will correct it in another post.

Do I sense some sarcasm?!!!
As much as I love Saku, his leadership is only available for 50-odd games per season (i.e. those games where he is actually in the dressing room and not in rehab). I've felt this way since long before his unfortunate illness. He's a good player and a great role model, but a captain shouldn't be around on a part-time basis. Not to mention that a team should be able to rely on one of its top players -- which it obviously can't do with Saku.
