Abby vs Theo
(Preview)
abby is not 4-2 as a hab....but still has a 3.50+ GAA. Not what i would like, but he has improved....i still am a little skeptical but he is SLOWLY gaining my confidence. Huet is still my #1 guy. But if Abby can keep this play up, i think a 1-2 tandem for the right price with these two guys shouldnt be too bad.

Chara will NOT be back in Ottawa next year. Bryan Murray is a close friend of a friend of mines uncle and they were talking not long ago, and supposetly, Chara is asking for 8 million. Unless he loweres that a couple, he wont be resigned. SOOOO i think its fair to say that we wont be getting him either,....h...

Well I saved this to be my 200th post. I have read many, many time that Bulis should be in the line up. I am asking all of you who said this, WHY? This guy brings nothing at all to the table. He was a big help for Buffalo tonight though, allowing them to have 2 players on Koval...

How happy I am the Habs went 7-1 against the Bruins this year. This is like the days of yesteryear. Although years ago the rivalry was big around here south of the border. Now, its like Bring on the Sox and Patriots. Any way I am soooo happy we dominated them this year. Now I want the games against Buffalo an...

The Benched Boys score again
(Preview)
I see Bulis and Zednik each scored tonight. (Like someone said earlier, they should sit the whole team out, when you look at how they react when they're back in the lineup! )
Zednik was the best Hab forward in the last two games I saw (Ottawa, Buffallo). How was he tonight?...

Kovy Asks Gainey For Consistent Linemates
(Preview)
Kovy meet with Gainey and told him that in order to get ready for the playoffs, the line needs to be established and not altered. Gainey agreed to keep the line intact until Saturday? That's a strange thought process but you never know what Bob, the scientist, will do next.
After the Kovy line picked u...

Hope for Ottawa over Carolina!
(Preview)
And-o thinks that Carolina would pretty much be unbeatable by the Habs! In fact, the likes of Brind'Amour and Staal (etc...etc...) would pretty much have their way offensively!
On the other hand, Ottawa has one HUGE weakness ~ goaltending! Hasek's groin is wonky...and Emery is jus...

So, are we in now???????????
(Preview)
I didn't see a definitive answer to the question of what happens if the Habs and Thrashers tie for eighth place. Is Wins the tiebreaker? And if so, can Atlanta possibly get more wins than the Habs?
The suspense is killing me - have we clinched yet???????

The way I see it is we have to depend on ourselves to make the playoffs. We need one point out of a possible 4. We get that and we are in.

Just maybe our lack of a true first line centermen will barry us in the first round as opposed to the previous couple playoffs(thanks Boston) where we got away with it. Gainey will then, after three seasons finally bring in an elite guy.

Maybe we shouldn't overreact here but should we be nervous? I am. One more against Boston, Buffalo again, and N.J.. A couple days ago I said "cautious" now I say "nervous".
