If Abby is in than we'll be outshot. Just a fact because he lets out more rebounds. Have to admit though, he's pretty good on the first shot but just not as positionally sound as Huet to control the rebounds.
Lets hope he plays like the third period of last game.
You'd have to think no matter the outcome, Huet gets the Canes. It would be a slap in the face to Huet to not give him a chance to play after he put on a great performance the other night. And the longer he goes without playing, the colder he may be getting.

Huet has to get the Canes. He deserves it after his performance he gave in Boston last Thursday. I like both our goalies, I think we have a great situation going here, when one is off his game throw the other one in.

he deserves it
you are talking like he is a backup goalie ,he is our number goalie
who is being mistreated ,mis handled and under played
Regardless of what Huet may or may not have done last year, this is very much a "what have you done for me lately" league. I will give Carbo this much. He said from the beginning that he did not have a number one or number 2 goalie and he has stuck with it. Right now Abby has better numbers that Huet. To be honest, neither one of them has set my world on fire this year. They both look unsure, out of position alot, and go down faster than my stock purchases. Huet will get his ice time. Two starts in a row does not define a number one or number 2 goalie.

abby has given up 9 goals in 2 games against so -so teams ,so why is he starting?
Guess you would need to ask carbo that one Skov. Sometimes it is just a "hunch" that the coach goes with, or how he feels they have been doing in practice. Or sometimes it is how they did in the past against the team they are playing (although I think Huet had a pretty good record against the Sens).
One thing about being a coach...if Abby wins tonite, he is a hero, if he stinks then Carbo is a bum. There is seldom a "grey area".

Im guessing his 47 saves and his 3rd period performace is why Abby is between the pipes tonight. I also agree that Carbo wants to give a different look in net for the Sens shooters.
Again, what's the big deal if Huet sits? Right now Abby's save percentage is .921(10 th in the league). Not bad considering he is tied with Ryan Miller who is supposedly so great. Luongo's is .926, Kipprusoff .909
Theodore is at .877 (36th in the league) and Huet is at .899 (23rd in the league).
Get behind your team, they all where the CH on their chest.
Hey doodie, I'm with you here. I thought Abby played great, but I still would have liked to see Huet. Maybe it's as sarge says...they want to give Ottawa shooters a different look.
